[You have been forcefully ejected!] Well, that was a fun time... Neraxis hummed as he glanced around. He returned to the same time as when the girls first began hunting for him—mainly Aella and Celina. Nonetheless, he wanted to do a few things before the week was up. One of those things would be to get Evangeline's body back, which he had secretly been looking into with Delta. Not much progress was made, but they were able to narrow it down. Of course, as much as he wanted to keep this a secret, Evangeline was bound to find out. And she did. [Neraxis... This body works just fine. It's a replica of my old body, just much weaker. I can do everything I was able to before, so there's no need for you to risk your life,] Evangeline said worriedly. I won't budge on this, Neraxis replied with a sigh. I already told you a year ago, and I'm telling you now. Since I got stronger, I'm going to get your body back within a week. [If you say so... But you don't even know where it is,] Evangeline said plainly. Neraxis nodded. You can read my memories, right? So, can I read yours? Could you give me a memory of your world, how it looks, whatever, anything is fine. Evangeline remained silent for a moment, and in the next, Neraxis suddenly saw a flash of light. However, it was no ordinary flash of light as during it, Neraxis saw a glimpse of the world from Evangeline's perspective. Her world and her emotions, but one thing did stand out. There's barely any color. Only black and red, Neraxis noted with a frown. [I didn't need colors, they distracted me,] she replied with a giggle. [I saw everything in black, and those who had even a tinge of blood were visible to me in red.] It sounded a bit sad, and honestly, Neraxis felt pity for her. But there was no use consoling her—she had already died. Nonetheless, he used his imagination and filled each quarter of the black and red mess with his own colors, until finally, he had a clear picture of the surroundings. It was a pretty desolate land, with vibrant skyscrapers off in the distance. From what he could assume, this was a memory of her in some kind of monster zone. There were a few dead rats, zombies, and even skeletons—Most importantly, though, Neraxis took a mental image of this location. But that was not all he did—as in the next moment, Neraxis channeled all his mana, then imagined himself teleporting below the sun in that land. To his surprise, he felt a strong pull, followed by the smell of gunpowder, blood, and rotten corpses. He felt drained, but despite that, he reopened his eyes. Woah... Neraxis exclaimed. He wasn't in his world anymore—as by using the sun, he was able to teleport to Evangeline's world. Or so he would like to think. However, it seemed like whatever technological advancements he had seen in that memory of hers were no longer here. Instead, he saw many trenches, and even old-school long-barrel guns lying around. Evangeline, is this it? Neraxis asked, puzzled. [You actually made it...?] Evangeline muttered. [This is my world, yes. though this place is on the other side of the globe. Also... Didn't you say you were going to help the class?] You're more important. Neraxis let out a sigh as he summoned a pair of frost wings and flew into the sky. The moment he did, however, a bullet came flying toward him—which he didn't even bother to dodge. But to his surprise, the bullet managed to pierce his skin and even dug deep into his bicep. [Yeah... You remember those mana weapons Aella mentioned? We have them too,] Evangeline added, then innocently whistled. Good to know, Neraxis replied. In the very next moment, the bullet shot out from his wound—not leaving a mark or a scar as it healed instantly. The regeneration was a little too fast now, even for his comfort. It was almost like he couldn't be injured anymore. But I'm not going to get overconfident... those Sovereigns are definitely strong. Definitely above Mythic Rank—maybe they're Transcendents? he pondered. [Celestials,] Evangeline commented. [They're not strong enough to be Primordials, but they're definitely strong enough to be Celestials. I'd know, since I was pretty strong myself.] I see... Neraxis grumbled as he glanced around. The person who shot him stood frozen, his arm trembling as he tried his best to remain standing. However, not even a moment later, the soldier fell onto the ground—landing flat on his ass. That's enough of a scare, I feel like. Evangeline, which way do I go? Neraxis asked. [East. A lot east. This world is large, so you need to move around 528,000 kilometers east, and then you should arrive in my former kingdom,] Evangeline explained, startling him. That would make sense why he was currently seeing some old-school fights—while on the other side of the world, they were more developed. This world is fucking big... Neraxis focused, connecting with the sun that was in the sky. As he did, he suddenly got an aerial view of the entire world—but of course, he could only go so far. Therefore, Neraxis teleported to the furthest point possible, which was 300,000 kilometers from where he had just been. He couldn't go further, because well... The world wasn't fucking flat. Anyways... Neraxis took note of the surroundings, and it seemed like he was in a jungle. Better yet, there was a temple ahead where some people were grilling a boar and chatting on their phones. What kind of mixed technology bullshit is this? Neraxis thought with furrowed brows. [The Tiki, from what I remember. They neighbored a few countries that had main roads toward mine, but I'm not sure how much has really changed. It has been a couple of years by now,] Evangeline replied. I see... Well... Neraxis sighed as he approached one of the Tiki people. Let's hope I can have a civilized conversation with them...
