It didn't take long for Neraxis to make his way down the building, and now he stood on the busy street. People were still talking about the tournament, as—after all—it would be the big thing for the next week or two. But aside from that, he checked his main phone and found Alice's and Lar's locations. They were in separate areas, with Alice in what appeared to be a clothing shop and Lar walking around the beach. Since he knew how troublesome Alice could be, he went toward Lar instead, as he was most likely with Asher. Of course, before Neraxis did that, he went to a clothing shop and bought some normal clothes that would make him look like any ordinary person. And before he forgot—a wig. Actually, a few for the future. Neraxis now wore baggy white clothes, a pair of jeans, and a cheap blonde wig. Now, that arrogance was on full display as he walked beside Lar and confidently glared at random people. As Neraxis was about to move toward them, a voice stopped him. "Hey, gal, what do you say we go out for drinks?" Neraxis's brows furrowed as he turned around and flashed the middle finger. "Fuck off." "Y-You're a dude... Shit... I'm drunk." The man facepalmed as he walked away, mumbling. [A muscular yet skinny body, combined with a porcelain face. Just wow.] Evangeline remarked in amazement, and he ignored her. I really should've picked out a shorter wig... Neraxis let out a sigh and finally approached the two former heroes. They were talking about random stuff while going to some sort of club, so Neraxis followed close by until, eventually, they arrived. As they did, he saw the two split up, and immediately, Neraxis took his chance. Following Asher, they entered the club, and the smell of booze and drugs entered Neraxis's nose. He ignored it as he 'accidentally' bumped into Asher and 'accidentally' touched his neck. "Bitch, be careful—oh, it's a hot chick." Asher corrected himself, offering a hand for Neraxis to stand, which he accepted. "What's your name?" Asher asked, doing something weird with his lips in an attempt to flirt. However, Neraxis merely pointed toward his own throat, as if saying he was a mute. But Asher didn't get the same message. "Y-You! Right now?" Asher stammered, flustered as a massive blush appeared on his face. "I-I guess a b-blowjob here is fine. You can follow me." Neraxis's brows twitched at the comment as he tried his best to not outright kill Asher. He was aware that Asher was a scumbag, as—despite his arrogance—he had a very small ego, which he tried to fulfill by acting tough. But from what Neraxis could see right now, Asher was nothing but a stuck-up loser. That's why you're dying in a few minutes. Neraxis thought before flashing a smile and pointing into the crowd, prompting Asher to turn and look. In that time, Neraxis dashed backward and out of the club, leaving Asher and Lar to do their own dirty things. Nonetheless, he pulled out his phone and was about to check Alice's location. But to his surprise, there was a message from Aella. <Aella: I cleared the camera feeds from when you first entered the store to when you left the club. I will help you even if you don't ask me to. However, if you leave your room like that again, I'm not going to make any cool gadgets for you anymore.> Sighing, he replied. <Neraxis: Sorry... and thanks.> With that, he readjusted his wig before sitting down on the sand and vaguely looking toward the club. He also took a glance at his phone, where Alice was, and from the looks of things, she hadn't moved much—just merely changed stores. Therefore, Neraxis acted as though he was sunbathing and connected his {Aura of the Abyss} to Asher. He could vaguely feel Asher's body, and it was heating up, which meant he was likely doing the deed with some random girl. That was why Neraxis decided to cool him down just a tad bit. A few seconds passed, and nothing much happened, but soon, screams resounded from the club as people began running out. As the doors opened, Neraxis saw a cold fog emerge from the inside. Following that was Asher, who hurriedly stepped into the light of the sun, his eyes bloodshot. I might've overdone it a little bit. Neraxis stared at the naked Asher, whose skin was completely purple, veins bulging. Lar was off on the sidelines as well, staring at his 'friend' with widened eyes. Yet there wasn't much he could do but watch as it happened. Noticing the looks of horror on the people around, Neraxis's satisfaction slightly disappeared. I messed it up, he thought with a sigh before retracting the frost from Asher's body, making him let out a relieved breath as his skin color returned to normal. But before he could rejoice further, Neraxis suddenly used the full extent of Decay on Asher, practically pouring all his mana into it. Neraxis noted inside his mind and stood up. He began walking away, blending into the crowd of people and taking in the distant look of fury on Lar's face. Now that's satisfying. Neraxis chuckled and walked away. Watching his friends die one by one, unable to do anything—that was Neraxis's goal. And clearly, it was working as expected. [You want to make him fall into despair and beg you to kill him. I like that plan.] Evangeline commented, amused. You nearly got it, but there's more. Neraxis replied, a smile beaming on his face. There's much more I have in store for him before I kill him. And all of it will happen before the end of this tournament. [I see. There were many things he wanted to say to the girls. But perhaps he should start off with buying them dinner.
