The favour he now owed Mia was for letting his group have all of the remains from the mutated rank Golem. One had to know that the remains of golems could retain mana even after being scattered into tiny bits; those small bits could be sold independently and for a good price, too! Therefore, while the corpse of the Golem counted as a single item, it could be sold for more after breaking its large body into smaller parts; the remains reaching a hundred million Zen was not impossible! But just before Mia could leave with her people, a rough voice sounded from afar. "So.it.was.them."
