Alex appeared inside the stadium, right in the middle of the arena with the corpse still in his hand. A match between two academies was just about to start when Alex appeared in the middle of the students and referees, his appearance instantly caught everyone’s attention. The referees and students in the arena looked at Alex with disbelief, wondering how he got past the barrier that was around the arena. Usually, the barrier would be lowered whenever anyone wanted to exit or enter the arena but Alex appeared after it was put back up. A few seconds passed in silence before the stadium exploded into an uproar. "Hey, isn’t that the dark horse from the Dragonic Magic Academy?" "Yes, that’s him, the space mage. What’s he doing there and why does he have a corpse with him?" "Is this a ploy of the Dragonic Magic Academy?" Different people raised their opinions as to why Alex was in the arena with a corpse. The students in the arena slowly retreated while looking at Alex while the two Expert mages got ready to make a move. In the sitting area of the Dragonic Magic Academy, everyone was staring at Alex with wide eyes, their jaws almost dropping to the ground. They were horrified. What was Alex doing appearing in the arena like that with a corpse? Was he trying to get the academy in trouble?! Malcolm said in a deep voice, almost growling. Alex stared at him casually, not in the slightest intimidated by his aura. "Your daughter committed a grave crime, she has to pay," Alex said softly before tightening his fingers. Crack! A bone-breaking sound rang out, followed by the painful scream of the girl in front of him. Her left elbow snapped in the opposite direction and blood splashed across the arena. Gasp! Everyone present gasped in shock, not expecting Alex to be so bold as to hurt the daughter of an Expert mage right in front of him. What was he thinking? He was only an Adept mage! "He’s in trouble, we have to help him!" Joan mumbled in panic but Mia and Selena had already moved. Both of them disappeared from their seats the moment they saw Alex break the hand of the little girl he was holding with telekinesis, they knew that Malcolm wasn’t going to turn A blind eye to it. As expected, the moment Malcolm saw the blood of his daughter, his eyes turned red and he charged at Alex while throwing out a punch. "You bastard!" Malcolm roared, and two massive black gullets appeared on his fists with which he punched out. They were magic items! Mia’s eyes flashed with unwillingness upon seeing this, Malcolm’s speed wasn’t any slower than hers; she won’t be able to make it to Alex before he does. "Alex, dodge!" Selena shouted as she ran to the arena, she had the same thought as Mia. Alex remained expressionless while staring at Malcolm. He casually ended the telekinesis spell and roughly dropped the injured girl to the ground before summoning silver white stars again and forming two star patterns. The star patterns formed immediately after the stars appeared, it was terrifyingly fast! "Space wall," he mumbled. An invisible wall instantly formed in front of him just in time for Malcolm’s large fists to arrive. BAM! The two black gullets smashed into Alex’s space wall and were completely blocked off, not even a ripple formed on the space wall. Everyone was once again shocked by Alex’s display. A core rank spell, it was a core rank spell! Malcolm and everyone from Dragonic Magic Academy were shocked as well. Wasn’t Alex an Adept rank mage? When did he reach the Core mage rank? Mia and Selena arrived at this moment, and both of them landed in front of Alex and forced Malcolm to move back. Malcolm jumped backwards and landed five meters away from the three. She signed. Selena turned to look at Alex, his expression shocked her. It was unlikely that anything she had ever seen of him before. "Alex, what are you doing? You’re going to get in a lot of trouble with the Union and the Malcolm family " she whispered to him. The two referees from the Union were already staring at Alex with sharp eyes but were yet to make a move. The commotion that Alex had caused since he arrived had been very loud, those in the inner bowl had heard it too and had come out to take a look. These included Alex’s parents, Julius, Ellie, and Clint. Upon their arrival, they were shocked by the scene in the arena. "Alex, what’s going on?" Zoran asked as he walked to the arena with Freda. He didn’t care about the others; the arena gave off a chaotic feeling, and his son was there; he had to protect him first before asking any further questions. "It’s all right, father. You don’t have to come over, I’ll settle this." Alex’s voice rang in Zoran’s head before they could reach the arena.
