The door to the living room was open at this moment, and three people walked in: they were Phil, Mia, and Selena, who had gone to the Union building. "Welcome back!" Simon waved at them from the dining room. Selena glanced at everyone in the living room and, without saying anything to them, she made a beeline for the stairs before disappearing to the next floor. She said with a wide smile. Phil let out a helpless sigh. Why did he even bother thinking that their leader would drive? It was easier to just do as she said. At least that way, one would not have to question oneself too much. "Come back soon, Alex!" "Let’s hang out sometimes, I’ll buy you whatever you want!" "See you soon!" The three who were left in the living room waved at Alex. Alex waved back with a warm feeling inside him; they were really treating him like their youngest, and he was very familiar with this feeling from his past life. This was how many of the shop owners treated him where he used to work, it was a nice feeling. ’Guess joining them wasn’t a bad idea after all.’ Alex thought to himself as he sat with Mia in the back seats while Phil drove toward the outskirts. Alex was startled to hear her speaking in such a way, he almost felt that someone had possessed her. "W-what is it?" He made out after a while. "Could you not tell your mother about the incident that happened today? I might be a mage, but even I can’t stand getting an earful from her; she’s scarier than magic beasts sometimes." Mia said while looking at Alex with one eye.
