Chapter 7: 007 Tristan looked up to see a very beautiful woman in a short black body con dress, accompanied with a face full of makeup and half opened bosom. "Good evening Miss" the maid greeted with a bow. Tristan pulled himself into a seating position as the woman’s gaze locked on him. She is Adriana, The daughter of another Alpha King and a friend to Alpha Mitch’s father. She grew up alongside him and they were childhood sweethearts with the hope to get married when they became adults. But Alpha Mitch could no longer stand the sight of her and refused vehemently to marry since she was a beta. "So it’s you?! I heard Mitch brought back a scrawny Omega that reek badly and I knew I had to see for myself. I’m quite surprised, "she said while looking at her perfectly manicured nails. Tristan’s eyes shifted nervously as he could not hold her fiery gaze that seemed to be full of hatred. "Leave us" Adriana ordered the maid, Tristan’s nervousness grew into fear. He has no idea who she was and why she came but she deeply terrifies him. The maid hesitated and glanced briefly at Tristan. She cannot disobey the Alpha but the woman standing beside her was equally terrifying. With conflicting thoughts, she walked out and shut the door after leaving them alone. "I know Mitch will not lower his standard to marry a spineless Omega, and that left me with a question. Who are you?" Adriana asked while walking casually to the window. Tristan fished his phone out and quietly dialled the Alpha’s number. Hoping vehemently that he would pick the call. Adriana seemed to notice and she turned around immediately and snatched the phone out of his hand and threw it at the wall. "I said who the hell are you?!" She yelled. Tristan screamed as his phone hit the wall before it fell to the ground in a shatter. His eyes look at the device in anger and pain. He looked back at her and tears welled up in his eyes. He had bought it with his hard earned money from his part-time job. It took him several months to finish up the payment and she just threw it away. Adriana stormed towards him and grabbed him by the jaw. "Who the fuck are you? Answer me now! Or are you mute?!" Her voice went high as she yanked him toward herself. His eyes shut tight as he expected her to continue her manhandling but she suddenly let him go. "What’s your name?" She asked in a rather calm voice, different from her loud outburst. Tristan stared at with his tears stained eyes but he was determined not to say a word. She was the first person to ask for his name since he got here and it never occurs to him that he would a feminine name if he wants to maintain his facade. Seeing that he was not talking, Adriana did the most unexpected thing. Without a change in her expression, she ripped his pajama top off in a smooth move. Tristan did not have enough time to react and his arms immediately went around his exposed upper body. "Hahaha, is this why?. He prefers a male mate to a female?" Adriana ridiculed as her eyes moved over Tristan’s body. Tristan remained frozen like a prey caught in a trap. His hands trembled as he knew the consequences of what just happened. The Alpha could kill him and if he doesn’t his father will surely do so. "Please don’t tell anyone!" Tristan pleaded in a shaky voice and he went into a kneeling position. "Huh?, it’s a secret?" Adriana asked with raised brows. She finally understood what was happening. *** At the pack house, Alpha Mitch was having a meeting with the heads of the Warriors stationed at the borders of the pack’s territory. His expression wasn’t pleasant and everyone was treading carefully around him. Since the meeting started, he had lashed out twice at them causing some to be filled with fear. The first meeting ended and they all left. "This is only a minor issue and I can handle it, why come all the way here if you would lose your temper and yell at the warriors?" His beta asked after they’d all left. "My mating ceremony is coming up and I want to make sure everything is fine. A rogue attack is not a big deal but the identity of the rogues is the issue." Alpha Mitch replied with a low grumble vibrating through his chest, he had come to give himself a chance to clear his head. He had been determined not to care or pay attention to the Omega before they met but in less than a day that decision was hanging on by a thread. How could he feel so drawn to an Omega just because they kissed. His mind travelled to the time his wolf had woken within him. Trying to claim the Omega in just a few seconds of contact. "What is wrong with me?" He thought while running a hand through his hair. "Alpha, you have a guest" One of the guards came to announce. "A guest? He is expecting no one, send the person away" Gale replied. "But I..I can’t" the guard stammered but someone walked in behind him stopping any further argument. "Long time no see Mitch" A cold voice said with a hint of jest. The person who just walked was the third Alpha King in the country, Alpha King Raul. and he is the second strongest amongst the three. As Alpha Kings running a country, they get into fights and disagreements but the hatred between Alpha Mitch and him is the strongest. He had been actively looking for ways to defeat and claim Alpha Mitch’s territory ever since he became an Alpha. In conclusion, he is a big asshole with a handsome face. "I never wish to see you again" Alpha Mitch replied dryly, causing Alpha Raul to go into a fit of laughter. "I came to congratulate you on your marriage, don’t be so uptight" Alpha Raul said before settling into the seat from across Alpha Mitch. His words made Alpha Mitch’s eyes turn pitch black as he went protective of his Omega. "How did you know?" He asked through gritted teeth his knuckles cracking loudly as his hands curled into fists. "Oh, I’m...I’m always watching Mitch" he replied winking at him.
