William Foster shook his head, a smile appearing at the corner of his mouth: "Someone like me, who would chase after me? I want to set it as my phone’s screensaver so I can see you every time I unlock it."His eyes were full of affection and reliance for Clara Bennett. Clara smiled and patted his hand playfully: "Sure, if someone bullies you in the future, just show them this photo and tell them, ’This is my wife, she’s very powerful, so don’t cause trouble.’ Her words were full of confidence and determination, as if she was backing him up. William couldn’t help but burst out laughing, his laughter full of warmth and joy: "Don’t forget, you’re going to be an actress! When you become a movie queen, others will probably mock me, a blind cripple daring to call a movie queen his wife? Truly daydreaming." He intentionally shrugged exaggeratedly, displaying a look of innocence. Clara looked at her dashing husband, really wanting to leave him with the most beautiful memories tonight, so she followed his words: "Then have them make a video call to verify personally." Her eyes showed full of love, hoping to prove with her actions that his trust in her was worthwhile. William whispered: "Little wife, you’re so wonderful." His voice was low and warm, full of gratitude to her. Even knowing these were just jokes, William still felt extremely warm. Clara smiled lightly, slowly rising from the chair, gracefully moving toward the wine rack, picking two exquisite glasses prepared earlier, and filling them with wine. Then she returned to the table, handed a cup to William, and gently held his arm. In a harmonious atmosphere, they toasted, drinking together the symbolic wine entwining their future lives closely and inseparably. The wine slowly slid down their throats, warming their chests, seemingly merging their fates completely. From this moment, whether joy or sorrow, they were like the pair of cups in their hands, inseparable. As the last drop of wine was swallowed, Clara stood up, walked to the elegantly decorated vanity nearby, gently removed her phoenix crown, carefully placing it aside, and then peeled off the heavy and ornate outer layer of her wedding gown. Seeing this, William hurriedly asked: "Little wife, are you undressing now?" Clara slightly turned her head at his words, with a playful smile: "Yes, this dress may look beautiful, but it’s terribly cumbersome and complex, really troublesome to wear." However, it’s rather you, why not let me help you solve these difficulties?" Then he added, "You know I’ve always been very serious about taking little advantages. Otherwise, why would I have gone to such lengths pretending to be blind? If I didn’t make these preparations, wouldn’t it be for nothing?" Hearing these words, sometimes Clara even felt that this William Foster was really someone to take a fresh look at. It’s said that men remain childlike at heart regardless of age, maintaining simplicity and straightforwardness in some aspects. On the surface, William always appeared mature and stable, calm and collected, but deep down, he sheltered a free-spirited, innocent big boy. For William’s inability to see during lights-out relieved her from some embarrassment, although keeping the lights on still made Clara feel unnatural with tension. After extinguishing all light, Clara lightly walked to William’s side, laughingly suggested: "Why don’t we be fair? You take off one of my clothes, and I’ll take one off of yours, what do you say?" Facing such a proposal, William could only sigh helplessly.
