Burg Eltz isn’t abroad. No one knows you overseas, but here? If you walk around like that and someone snaps a photo, they’ll probably say our Mo family is mistreating you." Karl pleaded. Without waiting for Morrison to say anything else, Karl handed him his luggage cart and strolled ahead leisurely. When they exited the airport hall, a bookstore was nearby. Only after multiple calls from Linda urging him did Karl finally relent and obediently follow Morrison home. Once inside, Linda greeted Karl with a warm embrace. "Sweetheart, you’re finally back." Linda held her youngest son tightly, her eyes moist. Originally, after the New Year, Linda and Morrison planned to visit their youngest son, but he said his research was too busy and he’d be back soon, so they didn’t go. It had been nearly a year since they last saw him, so emotions ran high. After some small talk with their parents, Karl went off to freshen up and rest to adjust his jet lag.
