Zhou Yuwen’s words drew everyone’s attention to him.
Chang Hao was just a bit slow to react, but he quickly caught up, "And me! The burgers were from both of us! There’s still evidence in my dorm!"
"..."
After Chang Hao spoke, Zhou Yuwen really looked at him with a speechless expression.
He hadn’t noticed before, but Chang Hao’s brain really was filled with air.
The sudden appearance of two boys made the instructor frown; he didn’t pay attention to what Chang Hao said, since at times like this, there’s a clear difference between who speaks first and who speaks second.
The instructor came over to Zhou Yuwen and looked at him.
Zhou Yuwen’s face was calm, unlike Zheng Yanyan’s who behaved as if she was something special; Zhou Yuwen really didn’t care at all.
"Do you even know what you are talking about?" the head instructor asked.
"This has nothing to do with them! It was me who sneaked out to buy it!" Zheng Yanyan showed solidarity. Seeing the instructor about to find fault with Zhou Yuwen, she didn’t even think before she rushed out.
"This has nothing to do with them, it was our dorm that bought it." At this moment, Su Qing, who had been silent until now, spoke up. Considering the incident just now, even if there was some responsibility on her part, the main responsibility wasn’t hers, so of course Su Qing wouldn’t speak out.
But now, seeing Zhou Yuwen speak up, Su Qing wanted to protect him.
However, the head instructor no longer cared what others said, but instead kept staring at Zhou Yuwen.
Zhou Yuwen said, "I definitely know what I am talking about, the burgers were brought by me for them."
"Reason?"
"Why need a reason? There’s a girl I like in their dorm."
Zhou Yuwen said nonchalantly.
"?" The girls were taken aback for a moment.
The head instructor raised an eyebrow, "You’re saying your girlfriend is in their dorm? Then tell me, who’s your girlfriend?"
Zhou Yuwen looked around.
At this moment, two of the four girls were very nervous.
"You come with me to the administration building, the rest of you disband."
In the end, the instructor didn’t plan to let Zhou Yuwen and the others off just like that; if you do something wrong, you should be punished.
Upon hearing they had to go to the administrative building, Chang Hao felt a bit troubled and couldn’t help but say, "Instructor, wouldn’t it be enough for just one person to go? Why do two have to go?"
The instructor completely ignored him.
He took Zhou Yuwen and Zheng Yanyan and left.
Only after the team left did the gathered crowd at the girls’ dormitory doorway gradually disperse.
Li Qiang quickly went to suck up to Lu Lin, "Lu Lin, are you all right?"
Lu Lin ignored him and joined Su Qing and Shen Yu, the two girls, to discuss the matter.
Chang Hao watched the departing figures of Zhou Yuwen and Zheng Yanyan, feeling somewhat lost.
He regretted a bit; he had intended to speak up earlier to take the blame for Zheng Yanyan.
But because of that one moment of hesitation, he was a step too slow.
Now, going to the administration building meant they were going to see the counselor.
Shen Yu asked Su Qing to contact the counselor to see if she could help out.
Su Qing was, indeed, making a call.
After taking the two to the administration building, the instructor started negotiating with a director in charge of military training. The director frowned slightly upon hearing this and said, is there really such a thing?
"Alright, Instructor Tan, leave this matter to me, thank you for your hard work," said the director.
The director sat seriously with a straight face, playing Fight the Landlord on the computer.
And the instructor, who was outside the desk, couldn’t see this and complained about discipline and rules.
The director chuckled and praised Instructor Tan for his diligence, saying he truly was a role model we should all learn from, and how hardworking Instructor Tan was.
After Instructor Tan left,
The director finally raised his head and glanced at Zhou Yuwen and Zheng Yanyan in front of him.
