The saleswoman exhibited tremendous patience and attention to detail, squatting down to explain to Zhou Yuwen how to operate this particular car.
After discussing the driver’s seat, she circled around and took a seat in the passenger’s side.
True to the form of a 4S dealership sales representative, she had impressively long legs that were donned in black stockings, a sight so captivating that one could hardly look away.
She continued explaining to Zhou Yuwen while sitting in the passenger seat.
Zhou Yuwen said with a smile, "Sis, I’m just a poor student, there’s no point in telling me all this."
Wang Mengna responded with a light laugh, "It’s fine, I’m free anyway, just consider it practice for my sales pitch."
"Sales pitches aren’t practiced this way," Zhou Yuwen said.
"Huh?" Zhou Yuwen’s voice was a bit soft, and Wang Mengna didn’t hear him clearly.
Zhou Yuwen said it was nothing.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
The display cars in the 4S store could be started, and they were equipped with a special display mode that showcased some of the car’s performance and system operation, but they could not actually be driven, nor was there any engine sound to hear.
Wang Mengna was chatting and laughing with Zhou Yuwen, which caught the attention of an older sales representative who, walking over in her high heels, said, "Nana, come here for a moment."
"Hmm?" Wang Mengna, puzzled, got out of the car and went over, then the other staff member pulled her aside and whispered that a young boy of that age obviously had no buying power, and she was wasting her time with him—what if he damaged the car, the loss would outweigh the gain.
Wang Mengna said somewhat awkwardly, "Sister Liu, I was just practicing my sales skills."
"You can’t practice your sales skills with someone who clearly has no buying power. In a bit, I’ll take you over there to observe—that man, the one over forty with a gold chain, and with a young woman in her twenties by his side. Clients like him are the ones who truly have the purchasing power," the senior colleague generously imparted her sales wisdom to Wang Mengna.
Wang Mengna acknowledged and said she would let him know.
Wang Mengna’s cheeks were flushed and she was panting from her brisk run to her colleague, an obvious sign of excitement.
"What’s the matter?" Sister Liu was somewhat dissatisfied with Wang Mengna’s lack of composure.
"He, he said he wants to order the car," Wang Mengna pointed to Zhou Yuwen, who was standing not too far away.
"?"
As a salesperson at a BMW dealership, one doesn’t worry about a lack of customers, but it was unexpected that Wang Mengna, who had not even been there two months and hadn’t memorized the features of each car model, actually sold a BMW M4. Other salespeople couldn’t help but feel envious.
At the very least, for that day, all the employees at the 4S shop were discussing the newcomer Wang’s incredible luck, wondering about the wealthy young man who seemed so young and likely still in college.
It just goes to show that appearances can be deceiving—where did this second-generation rich kid come from? It seemed that little Wang had scored big.
In theory, cars couldn’t be taken home on the first day of purchase, but Zhou Yuwen paid in full, and the 4S shop just so happened to have a car available. When Zhou Yuwen expressed his desire to drive it off then and there, Wang Lina was more than willing to provide exceptional service. She finished up the insurance quickly and even ran off to get the temporary plate sorted out.
Zhou Yuwen waited for about an hour in the 4S store, then a brand-new BMW M4 was parked in front of the shop—white in color. To be honest, Zhou Yuwen wasn’t too fond of this color.
Unfortunately, there was no choice as the only available car was in white.
Wang Lina, with excitement brimming in her heart, handed the keys to Zhou Yuwen and said with a sweet smile, "Mr. Zhou, you can drive the car away now."
"Oh, it’s all ready?"
It had almost reached half-past twelve, and Zheng Yanyan had sent a message to Zhou Yuwen saying he could come over later as the class meeting was unlikely to end anytime soon.
Zhou Yuwen understood that when counselors scheduled a class meeting around noon, it was to free up the afternoon for students to go home for the holiday.
Consequently, Zhou Yuwen replied, "No rush, you can take your time."
