"Yea! We only need to do special adjustment as well as change the form as well, it should do the trick…. But we also need stronger metals as well as materials with the stronger necrotic element, so- " "Get your ass out there and hunt, yea, yea. I get it." – said doctor. "…." The necromancer and the doctor looked eyes at each other. Two man did not said anything and instead just nodded before doctor began walking away. (Okay. Good news and bad news.) I even heard that the dwarf workshop was recently attacked and one of the guards working there with the dwarf disciple saw this as opportunity and tried to steal one of the dwarf masterpieces he was keeping in his workshop.) (They were catched red handedly and stopped, but damn. What the fuck is with that city?) (The lack of the presence of that fuking dwarf is affecting the city way more than I had though. (Wow… Yea I don't want that. It would be both annoying and disgusting. I'm quite worried what they would do considering how they reacted so far.) (But, the plan is a plan unfortunately.) They area straight up spreading everywhere. I even heard that some guards even went and visited the nearby settlements to see if they can find any leads there.) (Anyway, I should get going.) Phantasia changed his equipment before then leaving the hidden base located in the abandoned mine. But while he was trying to leave it, he straight stopped suddenly. "…" (I just fuking heard that!) All I'm saying, how the hell nobody realized that there is a giant hole in the sewers AFTER the dwarf was kidnapped." – said the second voice. "…." (Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit!) (Now of all fuking times the fuking patrol found this place?! WHY?!) (Shit! What do I do?! Do I go back to the base and wait until they leave?!) (No wait!) This is a pretty dangerous area, so they may think that monsters killed them.) (But what if they decided to further investigate it?!) The two guards raised their guard as the sound of something approaching could be heard further in. Moment later, several silhouettes began slowly emerging from the dark. And among the silhouette, a humanoid begin was visible, before moments later, the guards saw the figure. "?" "Guards?" – said Phantasia. "Hold! Who the hell are you?!" – said the guard while pointing his spear at Phantasia. "Em…. I'm adventurer known as wood mask." "?" "What is the adventurer like you doing here?" – asked the second guard. "And what the hell guards are here?" – replied Phantasia. "Don't change subject! Why are you here?" "Looking for that dwarf. Seriously. You have posted that request to look for him everywhere." "So I had a though." "What if the culprit is using some caves or maybe mines as it's his hideout." "It's a quiet easy answer no matter how you look at it and stupid, but stupid enough to get overlooked." "So, I have been going though cave to cave as well as any mines and abandoned locations to look for the dwarf." "If you don't trust me, here. I have even the dwarf search request issued by the adventurer guild with me and if you doubt me, you can take me to the city merchant district. They know me and can confirm my identity." "…" The two guards looked nervously at each other, but calmed down after Phantasia ordered his monsters to stay back as well as putting away his crossbow. "…." "So… Did you find anything?" – asked the guard. "Well, I thought I did, but it turned out to be only wild monster." "I also though that this place maybe a hidden base and the monster was tamed, but nope. I looked everywhere and even checked if that place had hidden pathways or something like that, but fuking nope." "Honestly, are there any leads or hints or SOMETHING you guards had found?" "…." "Sorry, but no. Its not like we can't tell, but we really don't have anything." "?!" "Hey! Why the hell are you telling him this?!" – said the other guard. "Oh shut up. There is no way we can hide it anyway and he would have discovered it anyway." "He is right." – said Phantasia. "The only public known thing is about that tunnel made in the sewers." "If the guards had anything, they would have made it public in order to calm down people a little, but nothing means nothing." "Honestly, there is a huge chance that the culprit had left long time ago and we are straight up searching in the wrong place." "I quit." "I came here to develop myself as craftsman and wasn't really aiming to become that blacksmith pupil." "…" "We should get going as well." – said the guard before turning away. "…Fine." – said the other guard. The trio headed towards the exit in order to leave the abandoned mine. "…" (HOLY SHIT! MY BULLSHIT HAD WORKED!) (I almost shitted myself right now.) (Good thing I came up with made up story in the last moment…. Probably should have thought of story just in case before they anybody would have gotten here…. Why the hell I didn't do that?) (Anyway, I managed to dodge the bullet somewhat, but what if they decided to inspect this abandoned mine again?) (They may discover the necromancer hideout or may not. Either way, I don't to take any chances. Its better to give any false informations and slow them down before… But again, there is still a chance of them checking this place again to make sure.) (Okay. I think I'm running out of time for real now. Let's get the fuck out of here and hunt these bastards.) After leaving the abandoned mine with the guards, Phantasia instead headed towards the undead hunting ground and began hunting down any monsters he encounter on the way. He wasn't holding back at all. His monsters went on the total rampage while he himself was smashing beasts and the undead beings to pieces with his hammer firsts left and right. However, things are not really that easy. "FUCK ME!" Phantasia took out multiple potions from his inventory and began drinking them. (Man. This is fuking annoying.) (Those fuking monkeys always appear in worst possible timing.) (They don't have high agility or vitality or any defense skills, but those summoned skeletons and that black magic is still extremely annoying. Not only that, they are way more dangerous if they work with different type of monsters.) (There is also that cat monster wearing a bone armor that have some sort of stealth skill. It straight up ambushed me while I was fighting and almost even killed me.) (There was also that horde of those fuking bats. They can do shit tons of damage, but then that fuking cat appeared and straight up tore off my leg when I was least expecting it. If I wasn't zombie, I don't think I would have easily reattached it back…. Wait. What would happened to my mechanical body parts? Would they also have undead zombie effect of easily reattaching?) Phantasia picked took out a meat from his inventory and began eating it. [Zombie race special passive have been activated.] [Zombie Hunger.] [Regeneration of energies increases.] (Well, at least the zombie race special effect is quite handy. If I have enough food, I can recover somewhat even without healer and I have even the potions I made myself.) (Still. WOW.) (This place difficulty is way higher than I originally though.) (This place have few different monsters hanging around in the area and each one is different and annoying in their own way.) (And the most annoying part about all of those monsters here, they have resistance against necrotic and poison attributes.) (I though those living monsters wouldn't have it, but fuck me they indeed do.) "And there is also that motherfucking big cat motherfucker wearing bone armor. He can not only sneak around, but also take a fuking hit! Jezus!" "Why the hell they put so many annoying monsters in here. Even one of these monster are extremely annoying, but when together, oh boy." (And of course to top of it all, they have natural resistance against necrotic and poison attributes. Literally two attributes I'm using.) (Still, can't complain too much.) (My inventory is full of-) "…." "Oh for fuck sake." – said Phantasia while getting up. Few moments later, a group the wined flesh skulls appeared and were flying towards Phantasia. "Few minutes for crying out loud." "Can't I have few minutes?!" Phantasia detached his hand and began swinging it around by chain before then launching it at the bat monsters, smashing several of them to pieces, but some of them ended up dodging the attack and kept flying towards Phantasia. However, the mantis monster under Phantasia control jumped in and slashed several of the bat monsters before the hunter red cobra came in and used its tail as weapon to shatter several bat skulls to pieces. While Phantasia beasts were dealing with bat monsters, Phantasia quickly swinged the chain of his hand, sending it flying back towards him and smashing some of the skull bats along the way before then reattaching the hand back to its original position. He then reattached the arm again and began spinning it around, but then something weird happened. The bat monster flew past him. "?!" "What?" (Wait. Something is definitely wrong.) (Those bats attack the target no matter what, if they are alone or not and even if the target is stronger than them.) (THEY NEVER IGNORED-) "?!" (Wait! Why haven't they attacked my beasts?!) (This isn't normal at all!) "…." "Why do I think there is some sort of big bad beast over in that direction that probably scared off those bat skulls?" "…." (And considering the fact that I need stronger materials means I have to go and check it out in order to see if strong monsters in indeed there and probably try to hunt it.) "…" (You know, considering the fact that I almost died several times in the row and had been some through rough shit in here… I wouldn't be surprised if something in that direction would murder my ass…. But I don't really have choice since I don't know how much time I have left…...) 'Sigh' "Fuck my life I guess."
