Chapter 21 – Chaos everywhere.

Phantasia broke the winddown alongside the mayor and ended up flying through it to the outside.The duo fall down and hit the ground pretty quickly, crashing into it. (!) (FUCK!) – though Phantasia. (That kind of hurt…. I thought it would hurt less since it's a world of magic and shit!) "Ugh…" "! ~ Phantasia looked behind him and saw the mayor trying to get up, but then Phantasia quickly got up and kicked the mayor right in the face while he was still lying like a bastard. After kicking the mayor, he quickly took out the bottle of the acid poison and smashed it against the mayor face when he tried defending himself. The mayor began screaming an agony, making him grab his face as he screamed. (NOW!) Phantasia grabbed the mayor and stabbed him right in the neck with the poison covered claws over and over again before slashing and stabbing different part of the mayor body in hurry, trying to kill him as soon as possible. Before long, the mayor was finally dead. "…" (I-) Before Phantasia could even have a moment to celebrate, he was shot right in the shoulder with the arrow. "?!" Phantasia looked up and saw the guards aiming at him with the bows. "!" Phantasia quickly began running away as more arrows were send flying his way and even some of the guards took the risk and jumped down the window. The culprit ran away as the guards gave chase. (FUCK!) (I maybe respawn after my death, but I cannot have them get me and see my identity!) Phantasia quickly ran through the main gate of the mansion as the guards continue chasing after him. (Fuck!) (Even if I take off my equipment, they can tell it's me because of the injuries I suffered!) (I was too cocky and didn't though I would suffer so much damage!) (I may have a proper equipment now, but most of my stats are right now into mana and intelligent!) (My equipment isn't heavy equipment as well, so all of those attacks that landed on me did some annoying damage to me.) (FUCK ME!) (As long as I escape I can-) "!" Phantasia noticed a flock of people in the streets and quickly ran into the, making the guards lost the sight of him. "QUICKLY!" – shouted the perusing dark elf. "Shit! Out of the way!" The mansion guard tried giving chase after Phantasia, but the crowd of people stood in their way. "HEY! What the fuck are you doing?!" – shouted the mansion guard. "Sorry! But we are evacuating this people." "The hospital was just destroyed and the patient that were supposed to go here were- " "I DON'T CARE!" – shouted the mansion guard at the city guard. "FUCK! WE ARE CHASING THE CRIMINAL! JUST GET OUT OF OUR WAY!" The mansion guards brute force their way through the crowd of civilians in panic in order to fallow the culprit. But then several bottles were throwed into the air. The bottles fall down, hit several passerby's and instantly broke, making it contains spill out on the people. Exactly moment later, the people began screaming in pain, creating a huge panic. The mansion guards and the city guards tried to do something, but the panic instead just grew more and more, allowing Phantasia to just walk away unnoticed as the crowd of panicking people covered his escape. After getting away, Phantasia run as fast as he could in order to get as far as possible before then finally stopping in back alley corner and sitting down, exhausted. "Fuuuucckkkk..." (I almost shifted my pants from stress alone. I thought I was done for.) (I got extremely mother fucking just now, with those crowd of people.) (Well… I did wasted the giant sewer rat poison on them, but it was worth it.) – though Phantasia before taking out a potion and drinking it. (…) (Okay… Some HP was restored… But I'm all out of stamina.) (But fuck me!) (I mean. I FUKING killed the bastard!) (But the fuking mansion!) (Those guards weren't some mobs, but a strong bastards!) (Holy fuking shit.) (If I didn't got the titles after the hospital, I would probably get instantly killed.) (….) (I think I'm safe… For now.) (But fuck me.) (The guards at the mansion were WAY more tougher than those city guards I killed in the barracks.) (Well, there was also way more of them as well as the fact that they were not spread thin everywhere.) (Even if my object wasn't to kill mayor but instead people, I would have probably still lost.) (…) (Well, I may not have killed everybody and turned the mayor mansion into the source of the plague, but the main goal was archived.) The mayor is dead. The guards lost their main base of operation and their base even became new source of infection. The hospital has been destroyed and is now new source of infection. (With the mayor dead, the person in charge gone as well as the fact that the plague is spreading even at faster pace than before thanks to the two new sources of infection.) (Even if players try to do something, it's too late.) (If they just stayed in the city and just helped with healing as well as potion making, the plan would have never succeeded since the plague would not spread that fast.) (But now that the two plague sources have been created and the "Head" is gone, the chaos will swallow this city.) (….) (I don't know if I won yet… But I say I have a good chances now.) (Anyway, let's see what I got.) Phantasia left the city in order to hide away, but while that was happening, some of the guards that were in the city went directly to the city guard capitan and explained the whole situation to him. Starting from the hospital getting destroyed, to the fact that the barracks were completely wrecked. And last but not least, the fact that the mayor was killed. And oh boy, he wasn't thrilled at all. "…" "What?" – said the orc. "The…. The mayor is dead?!" "…Yes…." "The mansion guard tried giving chase, but he spread poison around on the civilians, making them go chaotic and cover his escape." – said the guard. "The culprit was the bird mask wearing man…. Just like you warned us to look out for." "We don't know…. But there is a good chance he was behind all 3 accidents." "…" "?" "Capitan?" – asked the worried guard after not receiving any replies from the guard capitan. "…" (Oh no…. This is not good!) – though the orc. (Losing mayor alone right now is bad since we lost the person in charge, but we even lost the barracks and the hospital?!) (Without hospital people will-) "SIR!" "?" "Y-yes?!" – replied the surprised orc. "This isn't all." "…Oh…. Fuck." "…. Just tell me." "…." "The barracks as well as the hospital were infected with the plague…. I don't think we can use hospital it right now or the equipment inside that were contaminated by the plague." "The barracks are no go as well…" "…." "MOTHER- " While everybody was paying attention to the sewers, the unknown assailant made its way to the city and destroyed both the important facilities such as hospital and the barracks before infecting them. The destruction of the two buildings were found out with the delay, but when it was found out, the massive chaos erupted. But it wasn't all. The mayor, Alex Mim, was killed by probably the same person who destroyed and infected both the hospital and the barracks. The city guards tried to keep the information about it hidden, but somehow people find out about, as if somebody intentionally spread the information. The entire city went in the state of panic. The facility that posses' medical supplies were in ruins and the main base of operation of the guards had been completely destroyed. To add even more damage, the one ruling the city was murdered. Dumdo, the capitan of the city guard had temporarily took the position of the mayor in order to calm things a bit. But…. Because of the barracks were destroyed as well as the fact other problems happened when the guards could have easily prevented them if they just didn't went after the rats ended up harming their reputation and making it harder for them to cooperate with the civilians. The control of the city was very chaotic. Not only this, many people decided to leave the city with their families since there was some sort of criminal or maybe criminals who are on the loss and the guards were completely unable to deal with them. To add even more trouble, people were wary of each other and even crime rate got higher. And to make matters, worse, players were not happy with all this. Everybody did heard before than the developers stated that they don't have control over that world, but they didn't though that they were that straight forward and meant everything. Okay. So, it wasn't developers who did it? But then who? The developers stated that one who influence that world are the players and beings of that world (NPCs). So, does that mean that it was NPC doing? The guards did posted the wanted pictures of the man wearing the plague doctor mask. However, the people then stopped when one of the victims that were in the hospitals spoken up. [Post: It wasn't an NPC! It was a player!] "It wasn't an NPC that killed us!" "It was some sort of pshycho wearing the plague doctor mask and top hat and it wasn't an NPC but a player!" "?" "What the hell are you talking about?" "He is right. it wasn't an NPC. I was there as well when that guy came to the hospital." "He introduced himself as the doctor before killing us all using claws weapon and poison." "But that guy wasn't NPC, we even checked and he was indeed a player." "He is even the same guy that is on the wanted posters! It's the same bastard!" The news spread quiet quickly. Both in the "Real" world. And the "Game" world. The unknown person who did all that wasn't an NPC. But in fact, a player. The self-proclaiming "Doctor" had become his nickname. And oh boy, people instantly hated him since he was the guy that was destroying the city. The people concluded he must be doing some sort of quest, since there would be no other explanation for his actions. But in reality, there was no quest or what so ever. The bastard wanted only to destroy this city for fun and wanted to use its inhabitants as the living test subjects for his creations. Pretty much, Phantasia became both the center of the attention AND the target of the hate. But unfortunately for everybody it wasn't the end. Why? Well…. The city is still standing and that means his job isn't done YET.
