The members of the royal family had been put in chains alongside the church remains, meaning that the alliance of the four kingdoms was now no more, resulting in them being quiet quickly defeated if you look at it, to the point you can laugh. With is to show how wild the dwarves were. And now, they were alone. With their meat shields (alliance) gone, there was now nothing standing in the vampire and dragons way as their armies started marching towards their kingdom.
