Chapter 68 – Undead Mountains

It took bit of time, but my new arms were finished and were ready for action and oh boy, they were interesting.[Mountain Parasite Ant] The group of three giant ant monsters rushed towards Phantasia and one of the ants tried to bite him, but then Phantasia straight up punched the ant right in the head, straight up cracking it and making the ant back off while squalling in pain. Phantasia then rushed at the ant and used skill [Power Fist] to then punch the ant right in the head again and this time crush its head, finishing off the ant monster. The monster head was easily crushed by the Phantasia metallic fist. The second ant tried attack Phantasia, but Phantasia noticed the monster approaching and this time instead of attacking, he instead used his arm as a shield and have it block the attack. "?!" – the ant monster tried to bite into Phantasia arm, only to realize it couldn't do it. "You like steel you fuck?!" Phantasia opened his hand inside the monster mouth. "[Acid Blade]." Phantasia fired an acid blades inside the monster mouth, straight up filing its inside with acid and having a projectile made out acid straight up destroy ant insides, instantly killing it in the end. The last ant who tried to attack Phantasia from behind ended up stopping after Phantasia suddenly turned around and spotted the ant. "…" The ant decided to screw it and try to run away but Phantasia straight up catched up to it and began punching it to death until it stopped moving. After killing the ant monster, Phantasia retracted his fist from the monster bashed out head and revealing his new arms that consisted of the big and thick headed hands and fingers that were also had spiked knuckles. "Good." (Those new arms of my aren't really claws, but instead heavy gauntlets that are straight up pair of hammers. The design is pretty simple, but extremely effective.) (They deal nice blunt damage and can also use the [Brawler] skills without any problems.) (…. Huh…. I wonder how the hell weapon skills would work with it?) (I mean, if I had my arms become a weapon like sword while also still having an arm form, like for example each finger being giant sword blade, then would I be able to use sword skills with that kind of arm? That is interesting thought.) (Anyway, these new arms function way better than I though. The leveling up speed had also increased drastically thanks to them.) (And now I can finally challenge that place!) (…. There is also that necromancer who straight up is losing his shit already and is bitching why the hell I'm not there already.) (But its not like don't understand him.) (While hunting around, I have been spotting more and more guards as well as soldiers… This isn't good.) (I can kill few guards and make it look like monsters did that, but I obviously cannot kill a lot of them, since it would straight up say that its not doing of a monster but somebodies doing.) (I know that we are well hidden, but again, they find our base, then we are 100% fucked and that necromancer may use the dwarf as the hostage and may even kill him.) (For my plan to succeed, I need to help the necromancer and the dwarf finish making the heart.) (Welp, at least I added those chain function already and everything, so I'm ready for that place already.) (A lot of time had passed and too much if I may add. I need to get going NOW!) After having prepared enough as well as create a new weapons that should give me advantage over the undead monsters. And oh boy, I was stressful. This wasn't like before when I had level 70 against level 90 monsters. After level 100, the difference in power between each level are now way more visible. I maybe a monster and everything in term of strength, but the problem is that I cannot use two of my main weapons. I can only use my cyborg modification and if somebody ask question, I can just say that it was special made weapon. But anyway, the players aren't the only things that are getting much stronger after level 100, monsters and NPCs are as well. So, yea… The difficulty got increased and that is bit problematic and everything. Oh well, it can't be that- [Few moments later.] "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THAT?!" [Grey Fur Orangutan Necromancer] A grey furred orangutan wearing a bone mask and carrying and stuff was raising the undead orangutan skeletons from the ground. (Okay… This is new… A necromancer monster that can straight up raise undeads…. That's pretty interesting for FUKING first monster I encounter here.) The skeleton orangutan began running towards Phantasia. In response Phantasia detached his fist from his arm and made his arm hang around by chain. Phantasia began swinging his arm around and in turn, swinging his chained fist around before then taking a swing and sending his chained arm hammer straight at the monsters. The skeleton on the furthest right ended up getting hit by the hammer fist on chain and straight up all other skeletons right next to it ended up being smashed to pieces. "…." (Em…. What?) (I mean sure that arm is hard hitting and everything, but I don't think they should have gotten one shoted.) (Oh maybe because they are summon-) "?!" Phantasia quickly jumped away as a dark magic projectile came his way and create a small explosion in the spot where Phantasia was a moment ago. "…" "Okay… He can summon minions and have some nasty black magic attacks." "That's… Huh, its similar to my combo." The orangutan began smashing his bone staff against the ground over and over, raising new skeleton orangutan to his side. (So, it will keep summoning those weak undeads and it will also keep it distance while firing those savage dark magic attacks.) (Simple, but effective considering that small explosion just now.) (This guy may have other tricks up his sleeve, but-) Phantasia retracted his chain back into his arm and reattaching back his hand. (I should still fuck up that monkey ass!) "?" Suddenly two more orangutans jumped to the orangutan monster that Phantasia was facing. Both of the orangutans were also necromancers and began summoning their skeleton orangutans. "…." "You know… I should have seen this coming." "I'm probably the first player to came here and everything, so it's quite obvious that this place is filled with monsters to the brim…. But why the fuck 3 necromancers from get go?" (Okay… I guess I may be slightly fucked.) The undead rushed at Phantasia, forcing him to bring out his own monsters to his side and began smashing the skeleton left and right. The orangutans were firing their dark magic, hitting the Phantasia monsters while also forcing the doctor to block or dodge the attack and then counter attack with his own magic or used his hammer arm to smash the monster head. The battle counties for some time, but in the end all of the skeletons and the necromancer beasts ended up being slain. "Okay… This was bit… Refreshing start?" (Those necromancer beast were quite strong and they also gave a lot of EXP.) (But…. They were extremely annoying.) (They could fire those dark bomb attacks non stop and could also raise those weak skeletons over and over again. They can be easily killed, but they are distraction and getting in the fuking way!) "Jezus…...Still, I got this at least." [Necrotic Element Mana Crystal] (The necromancer was right, this place does posses materials for our research.) (But fuck me. The difficulty of this place seems way higher than I thought…. AND THOSE WERE THE FIRST MONSTERS I ENCOUNTER.) I though it would be smooth sailing and all, but it seems I will encounter problems in here… There is also the fact that I need to gather as many different materials as possible and possible look into an underground vein containing mana gems, but where the hell I would find one? And how the hell I would dig it out?) (Fuck me… If I could only use my chimeras at least, it would have made work way easier… But there is a solid chance of the patrol appearing at any moment and I already encounter some while hunting…. Fuck me.) (Oh this will be extremely annoying.) After that… Well unwelcome greeting I ended up realizing that this place is quiet problematic. I was somewhat hunting… Without dying yet. By the way, I though this place would be filled with undeads, but no. There are also beast monsters like the garaba and insect monsters. For example, death fly. An insect monster that eats corpse and shot acid. And for some reason dropped the necrotic element crystal? Why? Shouldn't it drop poison one? The fuck? Well, there is also a weird beast slash undead monster called the dead bat. It's pretty much a skull monster with flesh wings that hangs on the trees like a bat. It kind of look like those cheap toys for kids that are meant to scare people. They are weak… But they comes in swarms and can be quiet annoying. They can deal shit tons of damage if you don't deal fast enough with them, even my hunter red cobra ended up getting one sidedly beaten by them and that guy have a bit of defense and all…. Shit. So, yea. Now I know why the hell people of that Dusk city calls it the most dangerous part of the mountains Still, it was worth it. I managed to secure a lot of materials and it did the thing. Our research was finally moving again. But of course, things can't be this easy. We ARE making progress with the research and everything, but for the finished version we need even stronger stuff… And that means I have to go even deeper into mountain and hunt the strongest monsters in order to obtain necessary materials to finish the unliving heart. So, yea, there is still a lot of work to do, but it may soon end. Well… There is problem though. There are guards hanging around the necromancer base. They don't know about, but the problem is that place has only 1 exist and everything and I was forced to be sneaky in order not to get catched red handedly. … Yea… We maybe running out of time if any more guards start searching that area… And this time for real. …. OH, YOU CAN STRAIGH UP FUCK OFF! Why the hell now of all fuking times?! Seriously! Did they waited until I finally started hunting there?! I call that bullshit if that wasn't planned at all by the A.I. That or my random shit luck had struck me again…. And each time it does I usually end up screaming in anger since I would end up suffering a lot…... Oh god. Yea…. I really need to hurry and I mean now.
