Chapter 37 – Parent Weed Dragon.

The parent weed dragon tried swiping giant rabbits monsters with its claws, but the rabbit monsters were keep jumping away, trying to gain distance.The boss monster got annoyed and suddenly opened its mouth before firing a barrage of the seeds at one of the rabbits, hitting it and making it fall on the ground injured. The weed dragon saw the opportunity and tried attacking it, but then it got suddenly blown away by an explosion of poison. "?!" The weed dragon backed away and moments later it saw the Phantasia in front of it. "Hey." "?!" The parent weed dragon looked to its left, only to spot the corpse of the other dandelion dragon. The three rabbits quickly retreated as their master order and rushed to joining the other of the Phantasia monsters in fighting against evolved weed dragons. "…" "Well then. 1 vs 1?" The parent weed dragon opened its mouth once again, alarming Phantasia. Moment later, the weed dragon began firing the seeds, but Phantasia was ready for it and began running away, trying not to get hit while the barrage of the seed was chasing him. Before long, the dragon stopped shooting the seeds, allowing Phantasia to counter attack using [Acid Blade], firing a cross blade made out of melting acid and hitting the monster right in the face, making it scream in pain. However, the monster was now pissed and sprouted a long vine tentacle from its back that quickly flew towards Phantasia. "?!" (Shit! I won't be able to dodge it!) Phantasia crossed its arms and blocked the attack with his arms, but ended up being pushed back quiet afar. (Okay! Scratch that about only range attack being dangerous! The fuck was that?!) (It was nothing like that vine whip attack the other one does!) (It had way bigger range and it way faster…. But the damage wasn't as scary as I though. ) (But still, I won't be able to dodge that attack no matter what.) "…." – Phantasia looked around and saw his monster still fighting against the evolved weed dragons. (I guess I have to kill it on my own.) (But fuck me, it would be nice if I had some fire magic and set that thing on fire since its plant-) "?!" "Wait, a plant?!" "[Necro Bomb]!" Phantasia fired a sphere of necrotic energy at the weed dragon, hitting it again with a spell and creating explosion on impact. "…." "!" (The hell?!) – though Phantasia after realizing that the weed dragon took the average damage taken from [Necro Bomb]. (The fuck is actually going on?!) (I though it would deal extra damage or something, but no?!) (I mean, the weed dragon that I tried to turn into undead ended up falling apart before I could even turn it into undead.) (Shit…...) (Wait. Maybe it's really like a poison and it need to be injected into the body like how I tried to turn that corpse into undead…... BUT HOW THE HELL DO I DO THAT?!) (I straight up don't have any spells that inject the enemy with the necro element!) The weed dragon opened its mouth again. "Shit." Phantasia began running again as the weed dragon began firing the seeds again. Phantasia run and quickly hit behind one of the giant trees nearby, taking cover against the barrage of the seeds. (Calm down.) (Even though it doesn't have weakness against the necro element, it still takes damage from it, meaning that the necromancer attack skills are still useful.) (And I have also other tricks up my sleeve.) Once again, the barrage of the seeds ended and instantly after that happened, Phantasia rushed out from his hiding spot and began using [Bone Shot] non stop alongside [Poison Shot], firing bullets of bones and poison at the enemy, hitting the monster nonstop. This angered the monster once again and made it sprout long vine whip from its back. "!" "[Summon: Float]!" The vine whip flew at the Phantasia, but then instead of hitting him it ended up first hitting float he summoned, taking the hit for him, but cutting the monster in half before hitting him. "!" "…" "Heh…. It didn't hurt that much." – said Phantasia after not getting pushed back one bit by the monster attack. (Float is currently my weakest creature.) (It can attack from afar, but it cannot move and its fire power isn't anything grand or anything, if anything its weak.) (So instead using it as minion, its better to use its meat shield to take hit for me!) "[Poison Blast]!" Phantasia fired a pillar of the liquid poison at the monster, hitting it and applying powerful poison effect to the monster. "[Bone Javelin]!" Once again Phantasia fired powerful spell, this time he fired a single javelin made out of the bones that instantly flew when it was formed and hit the giant weed dragon, piercing its hide. "[Poison Ball]! [Acid Ball]! [Poison Spray]! [Acid Strike]!" Phantasia was showing no mercy and was firing his skills left and right without the care, trying to kill the monster as fast as possible. And this simple strategy was working. The parent weed dragon HP was dropping like crazy. Not only that, but it was affected by multiple poison type effects that deals damage over time. "[Plague Mania]." As soon as Phantasia active this skill, his eyes began glowing with green light and a skull made out of the smoke emerged from his back before disappearing, signaling that the skill has been activated. (Its only 3% damage increase, but it will do.) The monster completely lost all of its reason after realizing it was slowly dying and began running towards Phantasia, trying to murder him in act of desperation. "Nope!" "[Poison Smoke]!" Phantasia suddenly aimed at the ground and hit it with his spell that in turn ended up spreading around himself and creating a cloud of poison in his spot. "?!" - the parent weed dragon stared at the cloud of poison as it realized that it lost the sight of the Phantasia. "Hehehehe." (Man.) (I didn't knew that all of the [Poison Mage] skills are about playing dirty when I picked this class.) (But now I'm so glad that I did, it fits me like a glove.) The monster swiped left and right with its claws, trying to find and kill Phantasia, but not even landing one hit. However, the monster arms were big and there is a limit where Phantasia can hide inside the cloud of poison and the monster was well aware of this fact that it was just matter of seconds before it finds it. However- "?!" Before weed dragon realized something flew and hit it right in the forehead. When Phantasia was hiding behind the tree as well as when he was hiding in the cloud, he was preparing his crossbow to fire again. "Bye bye." "[Necro Ball]!" Phantasia fired the ball of the necrotic energy at point black range, not giving the weed dragon any chance of dodging or blocking the attack and making it take full force of the attack head on. "…." However, the parent weed dragon was still standing and tried lifting its claw. "?!" But then the multiple poison effects kicked in, finish off the monster and making it corpse fall on the ground. "…." (I ALMOST SHITED MY PANTS!) (How the hell it survived all of that?! I wasn't holding back!) (….) (Well, good thing that the poison at least finished it off for good.) (Anyway, lets just clean up and be over it all.) Phantasia helped out his monsters to deal with the remaining monsters and quickly had finished off the remaining monsters. "And done." (Dealing with the smaller ones didn't really took long since they were already quiet wounded.) (But that doesn't really matter.) (I managed to secure quiet good loot.) (Especially the weed dragon limbs and fangs.) (I can maybe use them to create stronger gloves.) (….) (But still, I ended up realizing something.) (I'm once again fucked because I didn't saw too far ahead.) (Because I put all of my points into [Taming Mastery] and [Necro Mastery], my [Intelligent] stat didn't increase.) (Well, its not really that bad.) (True.) (I fucked up since I can't use chimeras now, but I should have tamed some new monsters and created more undeads.) (So I only fucked up because I didn't do that.) (Well, this place is crawling with monsters, so getting new servants won't be the problem.) (However, they will be only temporarily ones. So, it doesn't really matter what I tame. I will just use them as materials later on.) (Speaking of materials, I should hurry.) (More and more players are getting here.) (Before too many appear, I need to hunt higher level monsters, level up and collect their bodies for my chimera research.) (After I make myself new equipment, then I will start hunting for real.)
