One of them kicked the boy lightly with the toe of his boot. “Hey, wake up,” he said harshly. The boy didn’t respond. The man frowned and bent down, shaking the boy’s thin shoulders roughly. “I said, wake up!” Still nothing. The other man snorted. “Forget it. Let’s just inject him already. Madam Queen said to experiment anyway.”
