It was a strange sensation, almost impossible to describe but he could feel himself unlocking something deep in his soul and allowing Nilo to access it. He then set a limit: Nilo could use up to half of the Order’s monthly Faith Energy. Currently, the Dawn Order generated about 1,500 points of Faith Energy per month, so Nilo could use around 800 points to develop the Order. It wasn’t a vast amount, but it wasn’t insignificant either. After all, this was the product of over 7,000 believers praying for two weeks straight. And to build up the Dawn Order, an investment was necessary. Still... this meant he’d have to cut back on Dawn Bats. Li De felt a headache coming on. Why is it always the things I need most that are the hardest to get? And Faith Energy wasn’t something you could just farm or mine, it came only from true believers. Though she didn’t believe in Li De as a god, she still held him in immense regard. He had lifted her and her sister out of despair and given them a new life. And with Nilo’s constant influence, Li De’s place in her heart had risen steadily, second only to her sister.
