Behind him, eight muscular arms each gripped a long warblade, while his massive serpentine tail, patterned with pale gray markings, slid powerfully across the floor, looking both sturdy and terrifying. “A pleasure working with you.” The two exchanged smiles, but both had something hidden in their eyes that the other couldn’t quite grasp. This was a deal between Abyssal demons.
