The Whispering Bat Cave was located on the mountainside to the east of Dawn City, close to the Blood Pool where the Holy Spirit was kept. When the Whispering Bat Cave was established, the safety of the Blood Pool had been considered. If the Blood Pool were ever invaded, the Whispering Bats could arrive in an instant. However, for now, the Whispering Bats didn’t need to engage in combat. Using these unique magical beasts of the vampires for production was the correct path. Dylon, a formidable warrior, had completely become a tool man. He had spent the past few days catching wild boars, and now he was tasked with capturing wild cattle. But now they were being ordered to capture dirty, lowly creatures like wild boars and cattle, which baffled him. Dylon flipped onto his Whispering Bat and looked down at the vampires below. "Fool, how dare you presume to understand our Progenitor’s vision? Look at Dawn City behind you!" Hearing this, the lanky vampire was puzzled. What did this have to do with Dawn City? With questions swirling in his mind, he turned around and gazed upon Dawn City from the mountainside in the north. From a height of over a thousand blades, the entire city was visible. Due to the altitude, the city appeared miniaturized, everything looking tiny. The last rays of the setting sun bathed Dawn City in warm hues, casting a golden glow over the rooftops and giving the scene a dreamlike, ethereal quality. What had once been a desolate and empty Dawn City just six months ago had undergone tremendous changes. Crowds of people moved like ants through streets as numerous as tree branches, with the area around the broad plaza being the liveliest. In the southern district, many newly constructed houses were under construction, with workers bustling about like tiny ants. Beyond the southern district, a grand structure was rising from the ground. This was Dawn City’s mage tower. The towering figures of Cyclops moved among them, vigorously tamping down the foundation. Vampires flapping their bat wings used Mage Hands to move massive stones, contributing to the construction of the soon-to-be-completed mage tower. Further away, human figures could barely be discerned, tilling fields. Though not clearly visible, the city exuded a vibrant energy that struck all the surrounding vampires. Compared to the once desolate Dawn City, this city now truly deserved its name. Everything brimmed with hope. "Do you understand now? Our Lord Progenitor transformed a city of only two hundred vampires into what you see now in just half a year! And in the future, our Dawn City will become an even greater city than Green City. All of this is thanks to Lord Progenitor." Dylon glared fiercely at the vampire who had spoken earlier. "Put away your ignorant gaze. If you don’t understand, follow the order. Anyone who dares disobey will personally be sent to the Security Squad by me." His cold words made many vampires lower their heads, ashamed of their previous thoughts. The scolded lanky vampire paled slightly and quickly fell silent. Vampires were a race with strict hierarchies. Thus, third-generation vampires absolutely wouldn’t dare defy second-generation vampires or the Vampire Progenitor. However, vampires were intelligent beings. Not long after, all the vampires and Whispering Bats took off, flying toward the Dawn Plains to begin hunting creatures they had once scorned—wild cattle.
