In September, at the new student orientation ceremony of Daoquan University. "Alright," the vendor crouched down and fished a brimming bottle of mineral water from the ice bucket, very chilly in his hand. Seeing no signs of the school bus being fixed, a group of students started walking forward. After being roasted by the sun along the way, Deng Jiani’s makeup was probably more melancholy than the melted ice cream bar. The driver, with a face covered in grease, had been fixing the engine for half a day without any progress. Exhausted and thirsty, he reached for the ice bucket.
