It had already been over twenty years. Chang Mei carefully smoothed the creases on the uniform, holding it close to her heart. Occasionally, a few water birds resting on the surface would leap, scattering splashes. Unlike the neatly arranged buildings of Daoquan University, Kelly Women’s College, due to historic reasons, consisted mainly of old buildings. The car drove through a tree-lined avenue that was hidden among the trees, with white rose vines wrapping around the trees like faithful guards, extending forward. "Uncle Zhong, stop here." Su Ziceng noticed the vehicle was stopped at the entrance and called the driver to halt. Outside the gate stood only two guards and not another bustling scene of admissions and consultation like at "Daoquan University." Su Ziceng had heard that Kelly Women’s College had been declining in recent years, so initially, when Chang Mei requested Chang Chi to enroll in Kelly, she had mocked Chang Chi. But what caught her off guard was that Kelly Women’s College could be so deserted that the entrance seemed deserted.
