Sunshine’s smile faded slightly, and Hang Yishao scratched his head, embarrassedly saying, "I don’t know where she lives? Maybe let’s drop it." He thanked the person and walked back dejectedly.
"Is that guy from Daoquan University?" The female student who had answered earlier was chattering to her classmate after he left, "He’s really handsome, even more so than Teacher Pei Luo."
"Nonsense, Teacher Pei Luo is much more handsome than him, he’s just a young kid. Teacher Pei Luo is both stable and considerate, and knows a lot, not someone you can just find anywhere," the female classmate protested discontentedly; she was a strong supporter of Teacher Pei Luo.
The stable and considerate Teacher Pei Luo was feeding a horse at this moment. After mixing the feed, the horse chewed heartily.
"This is an extra meal for you," Pei Luo pulled out some carrots and then whispered something into the horse’s ear. The horse flicked its tail, and its mane stood on end.
Outside the stable, another person approached. Unable to find the person he was looking for, Hang Yishao’s thoughts grew heavier. As he was lost in thought, he felt someone appraising him.
"It’s you," When Hang Yishao saw it was Pei Luo, he recalled the cake Su Ziceng personally gave to Pei Luo during the last class, feeling somewhat bitter, "Are you and Su Ziceng close? If you are, you should know where she lives."
"Ziceng is my student," Pei Luo patted the horse’s head.
To be calling her so affectionately, and to be addressed directly as Ziceng. Hang Yishao thought to himself, having attended Pei Luo’s classes for a while by now, all the female students around him were all praise, this man bore a decidedly roguish look.
The horse that was feeding raised its head, rubbing its face against Pei Luo’s cheek, noon Sunshine was somewhat dazzling, causing Pei Luo to squint his eyes.
Such a seducer, Hang Yishao’s heart sank, looking into Pei Luo’s eyes filled with doting; his profile, without any adornment, merely present there, drew everyone’s gaze. A man like this, enchanting to both humans and horses, is someone to be wary of. Fortunately, Su Ziceng had already stopped attending the equestrian class.
"We just have more opportunities to meet; in class, or in the greenhouse, during the day, or at night, so we’re more familiar than the average teacher and student," Pei Luo continued to speak while scratching an itch for the horse with his fingers.
Three parts provocative, seven parts flaunting, the more Hang Yishao listened, the more uncomfortable he felt. Meeting during the day was still okay, but why at night? And that damn greenhouse beside the classroom.
"If there are no further questions, I think Hang should take over the reins and get ready to be your Knight in shining armor," From a distance, students were gradually arriving for class, and Deng Jiani was already calling out to Hang Yishao from afar.
Hang Yishao led the horse, glaring at those horse eyes like bronze bells, pulling hard, dragging the horse out of the stable.
With the finals approaching, the equestrian class was coming to an end. Today was the final assessment, requiring five laps around the equestrian arena within three minutes. The examination requirements were in keeping with Pei Luo’s usual style, not too demanding, and even the most average rider could pass.
Deng Jiani took advantage of the moment earlier, returned to her dorm to put on new makeup, and even tailored her jockey suit slightly. The originally tightly-buttoned real high-collar jockey suit now had its top two buttons undone, a lean over and a tilt of the body revealed a deep channel, very alluring.
Hang Yishao helped her mount the horse, still thinking about Pei Luo’s words. After class, he would go find Su Ziceng and advise her to keep her distance from that irritating teacher. He led the horse, mind preoccupied, to the starting line, not noticing Deng Jiani’s flirtatious actions while seated on the horseback.
"Start," Pei Luo looked at the morose Deng Jiani, nodding towards her. Deng Jiani also noticed that male teacher observing her, and quickly returned a radiant smile.
The horses dashed out competing with each other; the dry ground of the arena kicked up clouds of dust from the continual sunny days.
The usually tidy female students all covered their mouths. Deng Jiani’s competitive nature flared up, not caring for decorum, she clenched her teeth and urged the horse on, striving to take the lead.
As they approached the bend, another horse shot forward, Chang Chi caught up. As she came close to Deng Jiani, she harshly spat out, "Slut." Deng Jiani’s delicate face twisted with mixed emotions. Chang Chi was after all Su Ziceng’s close older sister. They were all jerks with a condescending view.
