"I should think of a solution?"Xiaosuisui glanced at Zhu Xiuxiu when she heard that. Pointing at her own nose, she sought confirmation.
Zhu Xiuxiu nodded. "Yes, you should! Do you love your beautiful older sister?"
Xiaosuisui nodded. "I do!"
"And do you want her to always stay by your side and play with you?"
Xiaosuisui nodded again. "Yes!"
"But your beautiful older sister has parents to care for. Plus, there are people constantly looking for chances to bully her family. If this problem isn’t solved, how can your beautiful older sister peacefully enjoy her time with you?"
Xiaosuisui felt her Third Aunt was right. "We really should find a solution! We need to stop that wicked-hearted older sister’s family from bullying my beautiful older sister and her family!"
As soon as she said this, everyone’s gaze fell upon her.
Feeling everyone’s eyes on her, Xiaosuisui suddenly felt immense pressure on her shoulders. If I can’t think of a good plan, will my beautiful older sister not be able to play with me anymore?
Inexplicably, she recalled what her Imperial Godfather, the Emperor, had said when he dealt with Zhao Chunxiang at the Xun’an County Yamen.
"You are an imperial princess. If any of these blind fools dare to belittle you, their lives are in your hands. If you want to kill them, then kill them. Understand?"
"Ah! I’ve got it!"
The little girl’s eyes suddenly widened, her pupils darting around, sparkling brightly.
"Oh? What have you got?" Old Madame Ji asked with a gentle smile.
Xiaosuisui patted her chest and declared, "My Imperial Godfather said that I am an imperial princess! If those blind fools try to demean me, their lives and deaths are mine to decide!"
Old Madame Ji’s brow twitched, and she chuckled. "Are you planning to use your status as a princess to pressure the Xie Family?"
That won’t do. If the little girl really thinks this way, she might grow up to bully people using her status. Educating this girl is truly a long road.
"No!" Xiaosuisui shook her head. "They haven’t bullied me, so of course, I can’t decide their lives and deaths!"
Old Madame Ji and her two daughters-in-law exchanged glances, then asked in unison, "Then why did you say you had a plan?"
"I’m a member of the imperial family, so they don’t dare bully me. If my beautiful older sister also became a member of the imperial family, wouldn’t they also not dare to bully her and her family?"
Old Madame Ji and the others stared wide-eyed, utterly stunned.
Zhu Xiuxiu burst into giggles. "Oh, my little darling, do you think a princess personally ennobled by His Majesty is so worthless? That anyone can just become a princess?"
Old Madame Ji also shook her head; this was clearly impossible.
Only Huo Xing’Er chuckled, glancing a few times at the distressed Xie Pan’Er.
Some things are best seen but not said. Although the little girl’s words seemed to miss the mark, if not for a stroke of luck, how could Xie Pan’Er have appeared so naturally by her side?
"That doesn’t work?" Xiaosuisui tilted her head. My beautiful older sister should be noble, and no one should be able to bully her.
"Think again. Is there another way?" Zhu Xiuxiu prompted.
Xiaosuisui tilted her head again, thought for a moment, and said, "The people who bully my beautiful older sister are bad people. So, let even worse people bully them! Then they won’t be able to bully my beautiful older sister anymore."
Hearing Xiaosuisui’s words, Old Madame Ji felt so helpless she wanted to cover her face. She was just about to say they shouldn’t trouble the child further and instead let Ji Youzhi handle it—to sort out Xie Pan’Er’s family affairs so she could accompany Xiaosuisui without any worries.
However, before she could speak, Xie Pan’Er exclaimed in pleasant surprise, "The Princess is right! An evildoer is best dealt with by another evildoer. Why didn’t I think of that?"
