If Lilith were just a normal actress, maybe that would’ve worked. But she’s more than that. She’s something he was never meant to touch... and if he tries, he’ll be burned to ash." Her voice was cold. Final. "He should’ve known better." She turned without another word. Her coat swayed behind her as she melted into the dark, her footsteps soft and steady until even they disappeared. And just like that — she was gone. No flash. No sound.
