Charles sat in the main hall of the Hephaestus Familia headquarters. After returning from the Hostess of Fertility, the first thing he had to do was report everything to Hephaestus. Whether it was Bert leaking information or the conflict with the Loki Familia, it was beyond something he could handle alone. Hephaestus wore a complicated expression—she hadn't expected the Loki Familia's core members to do something so… idiotic. And any orders not yet delivered—hold them back. If we don't bleed them dry this time, it's not over!" Once she finished, she shooed Chigusa out and turned back to Charles. "I'll make sure you get proper compensation from Loki. But right now, that's not the main issue." Charles nodded. "I understand. But I've been thinking on the way back. Since I can't hide anymore, then I won't." Hephaestus smiled. "Now you're starting to sound like a real hero. In that case, come with me tomorrow to Ganesha's Divine Banquet. It's a good chance to let those idle gods get a good look at you—so they don't start doing anything unnecessary." Charles nodded. A banquet of the gods, huh… it might be interesting. The next day, Charles accompanied Hephaestus—now dressed in formal wear—to a grand venue managed by the Ganesha Familia. The Ganesha Familia was one of the most prominent in Orario. Their god, Ganesha, was not only an elephant-headed deity but also a god of the people, maintaining close ties with other gods. In terms of numbers alone, not even the "Twin Kings" Loki Familia and Freya Familia could necessarily rival them. Perhaps only the Demeter Familia—responsible for agriculture—could compare. The Ganesha Familia handled most of Orario's festivals and public events, and they also helped maintain public order, making them the guild's closest allies. Charles remembered that when he first arrived in Orario, the gate guards had been members of this familia. Charles followed Hephaestus through the crowd, seeing many gods from both the original story and new faces he hadn't encountered before. "Yo, Hephaestus! You made it!" The speaker was a tall, handsome god with golden hair. He had an air of charm that felt uniquely divine. Hephaestus, however, didn't seem too enthusiastic. "Dionysus, I don't remember us being that close." The god Dionysus smiled. "No need to be so distant! Is this the rumored child I've heard so much about?" Charles looked at the alluring god and made no move to greet him. He knew all too well what this god truly was. Aside from Soma, Dionysus was Orario's other god of wine—but unlike Soma, who focused purely on brewing divine wine, Dionysus embodied chaos and revelry. His other name was Enyo—"the City Destroyer"—a name even Uranus didn't know. It was Dionysus who had worked with the Fallen Spirit, transporting its larval form disguised as a gem through the artificial dungeon, planning to wipe out every hero-worthy adventurer in Orario. Charles didn't bother hiding his wariness, but Dionysus seemed to assume it was due to Hephaestus's attitude. "Alright, I won't get in your way. Enjoy the party," Dionysus said, unbothered as he turned away with a glass in hand. Hephaestus snorted. "I've never been able to see through that guy, but something about him always makes me uncomfortable. Charles, if you run into him again—keep your distance." Charles nodded. Dionysus would show his true colors eventually. No way was Charles going to provoke him before then. Hephaestus seemed to spot someone in the crowd and started walking briskly. Charles hurried after her. Then he saw her—at the banquet table, a petite goddess was shoveling food into her mouth. Compared to before, she now wore two little hair accessories—probably gifts from her one and only familia member. Charles recognized her instantly—Hestia, the goddess Hephaestus had kicked out of her home. He figured Hestia couldn't afford an expensive gown, so she wore simple personal clothes. But with that striking, curvy figure of hers, even a cheap outfit drew plenty of eyes. "Hestia? Wow, I'm surprised you came to the Divine Banquet!" Hephaestus greeted her. Like a chipmunk, Hestia forced down the food in her mouth and replied, "Hephaestus! I was actually looking for you!" "If you're here to borrow money, forget it," Hephaestus cut her off mercilessly. It really made Charles wonder how she viewed her so-called best friend. "I'm not here to borrow money—!" Before Hestia could finish, a whirlwind of movement interrupted them. "Shorty! I see you!" With that loud cry, Loki—dressed in formal wear—burst onto the scene. Charles noticed the glint in Hephaestus's eyes, sharp and focused.
