Chapter 11: I’m just curious *The Chamber was lit with the lively green aura of Kaya’s Nature Magic. The space was just enough for two people but there was very little distance left between them. The Vine that pulled Caius in was still around his waist and more vines thrust from the surface within the chamber as though ready to pierce through him. In turn, he had cast the ~Wind Blade~ spell and had it at Kaya’s neck. Kaya glanced at the Wind Blade, "Gonna cut my neck?" She asked with a little smirk. "I’d never," Caius told her with a little smile, "I was aiming for the Chamber wall to cut myself out." Caius then glanced at the vines that looked ready to pierce through him and asked, "Gonna stab me with those?" "Defense mechanism," Kaya said, "Unplanned." As she spoke, the vines retreated and became a part of the Chamber as Caius canceled the Wind Blade spell. "So how much longer can you keep this up?" Caius asked referring to the chamber spell. "Not long," Kaya answered and realized she was looking into his eyes. A few seconds passed where she was unable to look away and she let out a groan, "You’re doing it again." Caius chuckled knowing what she was talking about, "As I already said. I’m not doing anything. But... We ARE alone. You made sure of that with this chamber. Here, you can do what you were too shy to do in class." Kaya blushed, "I wasn’t going to do anything," she said but was already leaning forward. "Of course you weren’t," Caius said with soft sarcasm. "I wasn’t," she insisted, still leaning in. "I believe you," Caius said again still with a little sarcasm. When there were only five inches between their faces, Kaya glanced at his lips and then back up into his eyes as she said, "I’m just curious." "Perfectly reasonable," Caius assured her. Kaya moved another two inches and stopped so Caius leaned forward to cover the rest of the distance and connect their lips in a kiss that had Kaya take a deep breath. Caius noted that this was Kaya’s first kiss. It was his first as well (in this body) but it didn’t matter as much to him as he was sure it did for her. Caius in turn, chuckled a few times in amusement at her laugh but wrapped his arms around her, with one hand on her ass as they just lay there for the rest of break.
