No one noticed him; all eyes were on the blond boy curled up on the ground. Pansy Parkinson seemed like she wanted to do something, but Michael immediately pointed his wand at her with a cheerful smile. "I don't usually hit girls, Pansy—don't make me break that rule," Michael said in a gentle tone. Theo and Ryan kept their eyes on the other Slytherins, ready to act at any moment. But no one actually did anything, not even Malfoy's two usual bulky sidekicks. They just stood there stupidly, staring at Malfoy on the ground, not even thinking to help him up. Malfoy clutched his head and got up on his own. He glared hatefully at Wade and shouted, "Don't think I'm afraid of you, Wade Grey! Do you know who my father is?" Wade simply kicked his wand back to him and said, "Continue." Malfoy picked up his wand, his arm trembling. He was furious and resentful, but what he felt most was fear. The Wade Grey standing in front of him wasn't some bookish Granger. Rumor had it that Wade knew more spells than some fifth-year students— "Oh, I think I forgot to count down from three earlier," Wade said mockingly. "After all, I'm just a Mudblood—I don't quite understand the etiquette of you pure-blood wizards." The word "Mudblood" felt like a slap across the faces of the Slytherin students. Their expressions showed varying degrees of embarrassment and discomfort. "—If I remember correctly, you count to three, Malfoy, and then you cast the first spell—" Malfoy clenched his teeth, his eyes flickering with hesitation. "One... two..." He still tried to attack Wade, but his upper body and lower body were twisting in completely different directions. It didn't take long before he followed Nott's fate, with a loud crack from his waist and a fall to the ground. Despite his fall, Malfoy's legs continued to flail wildly in the air, aggravating his twisted back, causing him to cry out in pain. The once-familiar faces around him now seemed distant, cold, and unrecognizable. He couldn't tell who was laughing at him. Wade deliberately waited a bit longer, while the Slytherins just stood there watching. To any onlookers, it seemed as though this group was bullying Malfoy, as if they were all in on it together. It wasn't until Malfoy was on the verge of bursting into tears that Wade finally walked over and lifted the spell.
