Chapter 94: Rise and shine, beautiful The short man watched his retreating back with a wide, splitting grin, then turned on his heel and left. He slipped out of the estate on foot, heading toward a secluded bend up ahead. "Dog, how did it go, did he agree.’’ a booming voice asked as soon as the short man stepped in. "Haha! It worked; just wait for his signal, and we’ll have some fun, boys!’’ Dog’s words drew wild cheers from the gathered men. One of them yelled, "I hope there’s going to be liquor and men!" The rest shifted slightly away from him. "Monkey! If you dare dream of my ass, I’ll pierce your skull open." A man said coldly, creeped out by Monkey’s perverse rambling about his ’perky butt’ or the sensation of being touched every night. He took this opportunity to make his intentions known so that when Monkey died, everyone would know the reason. The rest burst out laughing, but they shifted further away from the monkey to be on the safe side. "F*ck you! Just because you’re fairer, you think I looked at you? Who’d want that pockmarked face? Pfft!" Monkey snapped, growing more irritated as he glared at the thin man’s twisted features. "You!’’ "Alright, settle down, do you want to draw attention to our hiding place?’’ A tall, huge man interrupted them with a cold glance, and they quickly settled down, not daring to get on the man’s bad side. "Viper, will I be getting food for my contribution?" Dog asked the tall man, the leader of their group. "As promised.’’ Viper gave a curt response and went back to cleaning his gun. Time passed as everyone waited anxiously for the signal. Suddenly a loud whistle came from the entrance of the secluded alley. All eyes snapped to Dog as he sprang to his feet and rushed toward the entrance—but he slowed, approaching with caution. Peeking out and spotting only the tall man waiting alone, his tension eased. He stepped out with confidence. "is it done?’’ Dog asked, and seeing the man’s nod, a short laugh escaped his lips. "Wait here, I’ll call my friends.’’ He left before the man could ask what friends. The sound of approaching footsteps tightened his nerves—and his unease spiked when he saw twenty rough, dangerous-looking men trailing behind Dog. "You didn’t say anything about friends," he muttered, eyeing the group warily, already regretting coming alone. "Relax," Viper said, motioning ahead. "You helped us. We won’t kill you. Just guide us inside, and you’re free to go." The man eyed Dog, seeing him nod, he swallowed and walked forward, cautiously watching his back subtly. He exhaled in relief when they reached the mansion. "This is it. I’m not going in,’’ he muttered and slipped away. Viper barely glanced at the alley the man vanished into before a twisted grin spread across his face. Finally, he thought darkly, ’those rich, snobbish bitches would kneel and beg for their lives.’ With a twisted grin, he waved his men forward. "Boy! Let’s go in!’’ "Yes!’’ They sounded softly in unison, not wanting to alert the other estate occupants. They barged in, the interior instantly lit up by the glow of embedded crystals, casting sharp reflections across polished floors. Without hesitation, they split up—some in pairs, others alone. Monkey and Viper each chose their own path, while Dog, stomach growling since they arrived, headed straight for the kitchen. Monkey flung the doors open. Inside, unconscious women lay sprawled. He glanced at them with disinterest before dragging them to the living room. Downstairs, Viper sat at the bar, an unscrewed liquor opened before him. He took a long gulp and sighed in satisfaction, the burn of the liquor warming his insides. Tilting his head back, he drank deeply, not caring as it trickled down his chin. "Boss, let me join you," one of his men said, grabbing a fresh bottle. He downed half of it in a single pull before gasping for air. "Damn, that hits the spot. Hic!’’ The man shouted, falling back in the chair with a careless dreamy expression, clearly drunk. "Always bragging about holding his liquid. Tch! Only half a bottle took him out. Useless.’’ Monkey snorted in disgust as he dumped the woman on the ground. "Aren’t they waking up yet?" Viper rose from his chair, frowning as he crouched beside one of the unconscious women. He held a finger under her nose. A faint breath brushed his skin, and his shoulders relaxed. "Good," he muttered darkly. "Dying too soon would ruin the fun." He took another swig from the bottle. "I’m off—time to find myself a man," Monkey said, licking his lips as he bounded up the stairs two at a time. Viper ignored his words and dropped on the couch to wait for the drug to wear off. Meanwhile, Dog and the others were feasting in the kitchen, which now looked like a storm had ripped through it. The cabinet hung open, some halfway, others wide, their contents spilled across the floor. Bare-chested men sat sprawled on chairs or the floor, their hands and lips slick with grease as they tore into the food like starved wolves. Pots were raided, dishes overturned—no one cared when food spilled onto the ground. "Mhm... is this what rich people eat? So much oil and flavour," one of them mumbled with his mouth full, eyes wide with wonder. "I remember chewing on those dry, tasteless chunks they called bread and meat," another added bitterly. Envy laced his voice—but it didn’t slow his pace. He kept eating like he feared it might disappear. "Dog, pass me the water!" someone called out. But Dog didn’t respond—his face was buried in the food. He reached into the pot, plucked out the boiling eggs, and peeled them without flinching. One by one, he tossed them into his mouth, puffing against the heat as he swallowed each whole. They swept through the house like a swarm of locusts while the occupants lay unconscious. Monkey finally reached the master bedroom. He pushed open the door and the moment his eyes landed on the figure inside, his breath caught. A fair-skinned man lay on the bed, older but striking. His body was angled slightly under the sheets, and the loose robe he wore clung to his form. Monkey’s gaze drifted lower, pausing—his throat bobbed as he swallowed. He shut the door quietly behind him, just as the drug wore off. "Rise and shine, beautiful," Monkey murmured, stepping closer. Brandon stirred, his head throbbing and vision blurry. He blinked, and his heart sank when his vision cleared—an unfamiliar, yellow-faced man stared down at him. Something was wrong. His limbs felt like lead, and a cold panic gripped his chest. "How... dare... you..." he rasped, his voice slurred from the drug. He tried to lift himself, but his muscles refused to cooperate and he couldn’t access his powers. His brows furrowed in confusion and frustration. Monkey chuckled, his eyes glinting with desire. "Feisty," he whispered, already pulling at Brandon’s clothes. "Stop. I can give you anything. Money... food... men—whatever you want. Just let me go," he pleaded, his voice low but laced with desperation. Monkey ignored the offer. His grin darkened. "But I want you," he said, giving Brandon’s thigh a firm squeeze. "Don’t worry—I’ll be gentle since it’s your first time." Brandon’s fear exploded into fury. "Don’t do this," he hissed. "You’ll regret it. I swear, I’ll hunt you down until you’re six feet under." In a sudden burst of adrenaline, he kicked out and rolled off the bed, scrambling for the door. But his weakened body betrayed him—he barely made it halfway before Monkey grabbed him from behind and flung him back onto the bed. Monkey grinned and tore the last of his clothes. A man’s anguished wail echoed from upstairs, startling those below. They didn’t need to guess—it was Monkey’s doing. For a moment, a flicker of pity surfaced for his unfortunate victim... but it faded just as quickly as their attention shifted to the sound of movement. The pretty women was waking up. "Ahh—wh—who?" the three women gasped, their voices trembling as their usual pride fled from their features. "Do you remember me, Miss?" Viper asked, his tone gentle—yet the forceful grip on the older woman’s chin told another story. How fortunate. His very first raid, and he’d stumbled upon the woman who had caused his family’s ruin.
