Chapter 11: Chapter 11- He will kill her, to wash these stains off him Eva passed through the warp gate and coincidentally met the group she ditched earlier, their clothes had dust and blood stains. They looked like they had been run over by a car, but the woman who approached her was still neat like she went on a stroll. Eva wanted to pass like she didn't know them but her way was blocked by a man, ''Hey you. Weren't you that woman that disappeared when Sierra politely as you to join us?'' his tone was filled with confidence as he recognized her, her hair colour and petite form gazing her away. The other turned in her direction and Sierra's gaze flashed in hate but disappeared immediately. ''I'm glad you came out safe but it was really rude to leave unannounced like that,'' Sierra spoke in a soft tone. Her expression was gentle but hurt. Everybody stared at Eva as if she had committed an insidious act. Except Olive who folded her hands to watch Sierra perform. Eve blinked at everybody's stare before she turned to the woman. ''didn't my leaving pass the information across? do we know each other?'' Eva's calm questioning tone almost made Sierra frown, Derrick moved to her and stared down at her, saying in a condescending tone. ''it's your luck that us the winged team wanted to carry you, a nobody along. So watch-'' he dodged quickly but Eva was able to cut a piece of his hair. He broke out in cold sweat at her attacking with no notice. The others quickly took a fighting stance and brought out their weapons. The crowds saw a fight was about to break out and they moved away but still watched from the side. ''Why the hell did you have to spray spit on my face? Can't you speak normally?!'' Eva's face was filled with anger, her face a mask of disgust as she wiped her face with her sleeves, but she didn't feel it was enough. She felt her face itchy and her frown became darker when she faced them. Her frosty gaze touched Derrick's body making him step back a little, noticing his retreating action a burst of anger surged through his heart, how can he, a level six ability person be scared of a little energy manipulator? 'he will kill her, to wash these stains off him.' He thought as his eyes flashed with killing intent. But suddenly he froze with horror when he felt a brush of death against his throat, he looked around and saw two familiar conquerors heading in his direction. Julian had a smile on his face but his eyes were cold as he looked at Derrick, a small invisible pin was held against Derrick, any small movement from him, would go through his throat. Ethan retracted his ice when he saw Julian attack, he just briefly looked into Derrick's eyes like he was an insignificant thing he could snuff out if he was in the mood. Derrick's back was soaked in sweat at their gaze, he couldn't move and could only stand there dumbly to the onlookers. Sierra frowned at his uselessness but seeing lord Julian and Ethan her eyes brightened. She faced Eva, ''You shouldn't have attacked him just because of that. You could have killed him. I'm very sorry that my request to join us angered you.'' She spoke in an apologetic tone, her eyes flashed with strange light as the men drew closer. Eva frowned, wondering if something was wrong with this person and couldn't help but ask. ''Umm...Are you perhaps unhinged? Am sorry if you are sick and couldn't understand my explanation.'' Eva spoke in a helpless tone, already coming to the conclusion she was mentally unsound. Olivia and the crowd's shoulders trembled, Olivia laughed unable to hold herself back, she even patted her thighs in laughter. Julian's mouth twitched to the side at her words while a smile flashed through Ethan's eyes. Sierra froze, her expression cracking and she barely kept herself from attacking Eva. Her finger shook badly, her nails digging into her palm, to keep herself sane. She felt the crowd's gaze pricked on her body, and she marked Eva's face in her heart, she wouldn't let her go free from this embarrassment she suffered today. Eva turned to the woman teammates, '' I don't want to join your team. Don't stop me ever again.'' Eva spoke in a loud tone, hoping these words drilled through their skulls. Before she could turn and look for the men, she felt a weight on her head, she looked up to see smiling Julian, ruffling her hair, as if she were some kind of pet. She frowned and struggled out of his hold, ''Don't touch my hair.'' She warned and arranged her hair back in place ignoring the sudden silence of the crowd. Their eyes widened when they knew who these men were and when they saw her disrespect they almost sucked in cold air for her. Sierra's eyes flashed, hoping the two men would end her life but outwardly her expression remained pure as always. ''Eva dear, don't be like this. Your hair is so tempting to rub.'' Julian said in a playful tone as he stretched his hands towards her hair. Eva quickly moved away and stopped beside Ethan, ''here's your sword.'' she moved the sword toward him. ''keep it, it's our gift to our new teammates.'' Ethan made his words clear and sounds of gasps echoed in the crowd, the way they looked at Eva changed even Sierra had to review her revenge plan or drown that thought immediately. ''The winged team right? I'll remember you.'' Julian said in a careless tone but they felt dead, some of them started thinking of disbanding from the group at just his words alone only Olivia didn't care much, she had never been this happy in a long while. ''Let's go,'' Ethan called out to the two and they left in the gaze of the crowd. ''Eva I didn't see a prey with you,'' Julian said in a light tone. Eva paused in her tracks, she facepalmed internally, 'How is she going to explain the sudden appearance of her space bag.' Knowing she can't escape that question when the kills are inside the bag. ''It's in my space bag.'' She answered feeling their stares on her. ''ooh~ you have a space bag, why didn't I notice before.'' Julian tapped his chin and dragged his tone as he looked at her to spill. Ethan walking beside them, pricked his ears closer curious of her answer.
