The spring sunlight carried its unique tenderness, penetrating the beautiful floor-to-ceiling window and shining on the couple inside.
Isabella Weaver woke up to the sunlight and birdsong, only to find herself held in Harry Hunter’s arms, intimately pressed together.
Her man was still asleep, those cold and fierce eyes closed, long eyelashes like little fans, beautifully softening his whole appearance.
His features were so handsome, straight nose, slightly messy short hair, yet making Isabella’s heart flutter.
She leaned in to kiss his chin, then closed her eyes pretending to sleep.
After waiting for a while, seeing Harry still asleep, she sneaked another kiss.
A moment later, just as she was about to steal a third kiss, she was caught red-handed.
"The sleeping Prince usually wakes up with just one kiss, Princess, you’re kissing so many times, the Prince can’t pretend anymore."
Isabella’s face turned red, kicking him under the blanket: "When did you wake up?!"
Harry opened his eyes, full of laughter: "When you kissed the first time."
"Then why did you pretend to sleep, you’re so naughty!"
"Otherwise, how could I know how much my wife actually likes me."
Harry planted a gentle kiss on her forehead: "Good morning, Mrs.!"
Isabella felt that the happiest moment of her day was waking up in his arms, receiving a kiss from him, and then hearing his seductive voice say good morning.
"Good morning, Mr. Hunter!"
"This title is not suitable."
"What’s wrong, I feel it’s quite appropriate."
"Do you like calling me this?"
"Isn’t it good? I find it especially nice, very ceremonious, very formal, very much like the feeling when I first met you!"
Harry touched her hair, slightly curious: "How did you feel when you first met me?"
Isabella felt a bit shy and said: "Just handsome!"
Harry frowned: "That’s all?"
Isabella’s heart was burning, she leaned on Harry’s chest, rubbing for a while before softly saying: "There’s a lot, thinking you were good-looking, had good demeanor, dressed well, voice very special, particularly cold, unapproachable, giving a special sense of security."
Harry couldn’t help but laugh: "Anyway, in your eyes, everything about me is good, even being unapproachable is a perk."
Isabella naturally nodded: "Isn’t it?"
She didn’t like Milo Field’s personality, being nice to everyone. He’s extremely popular in school, always gentle and considerate to female classmates, so when he and Gilly Scott had crossed the line of friendship, she didn’t even notice.
She indeed felt that Harry’s icy demeanor was reassuring.
Harry was very pleased with his little wife’s answer, lifting her chin to give her a kiss, and then getting up to wash.
Isabella wrapped herself in the blanket sitting up, glanced at the messy clothes on the floor, remembering embracing him last night when he clearly needed it but stopped abruptly.
She felt sweet.
After getting dressed and out of bed, Isabella went into the bathroom, seeing Harry brushing his teeth, she hugged him from behind, coquettishly calling him: "Hubby!"
Harry didn’t know why she suddenly became cheerful again, being called with such a sweet voice and hugged so closely from behind, how could he resist!
He quickly rinsed his mouth, casually washed his face, turned around and scooped Isabella up, supporting her torso against the wall, kissed her.
"You kissed too hard, I’m a bit hurt..."
"I don’t want to be pressed against the wall, it’s so cold..."
"You pulled my hair, it hurts..."
Harry put her down, using his arm as a barrier against the wall, indulgently and affectionately pinched her chin: "Such a little pampered one."
