When night fell, Shiely Morrison firmly insisted that Isabella Weaver should not stay at the hospital with her anymore. She teased her daughter, "Go home quickly, otherwise when will I have a grandson?"
Harry Hunter, who came to pick up Isabella Weaver, paused for a moment, then chuckled softly.
Isabella Weaver’s face turned red, and she didn’t dare to look at Harry Hunter the entire way home.
Harry Hunter was in a cheerful mood, teasing her as he drove, "Madam, even your mother-in-law is anxious to have a grandson. You should take the initiative tonight."
Isabella’s face grew even redder. Why did her mom have to talk about a grandson in front of Harry, causing him to misunderstand!
"My mom didn’t mean it that way!"
"Oh? Then what did she mean?"
"It’s just... I’m afraid she doesn’t have much hope for life, so I mentioned a grandson to cheer her up!"
"Well, you need a real grandson to do that. How can you cheer her up with just words?"
Isabella fell silent, her ears burning as if they were on fire.
She had been spending most days with Shiely Morrison, with her intimate moments with Harry limited to hugs.
Back home, Isabella went to get a drink of water, and Harry followed. She went to get food, and Harry followed too—even when she was getting ready for bed, he stuck by her side.
While Isabella was brushing her teeth, Harry hugged her from behind, kissing her neck and ears.
"Stop, it tickles..."
"I thought you planned to move into the hospital, forget about home, forget about your husband."
Harry’s voice was calm, but inexplicably, Isabella heard a hint of grievance in it.
She rinsed her mouth and turned around, unable to hold back a smile, "Isn’t this a special circumstance? It was hard for me to find my mom, and it’s even harder now that she woke up. Of course, I should spend more time with her."
"Hmm, is the situation stable now?"
"Doctor Niles said it’s stable, as long as there’s not too much stimulation, there shouldn’t be any big issues."
As Isabella spoke, she proactively hugged Harry’s waist, looking up and saying, "Thanks to you for finding Director Valley, he prescribed some medicine, and my mom’s appetite improved tonight."
"How will you reward your husband, then?"
Isabella’s cheeks began to heat up again, and she mustered the courage to stand on tiptoe and press her lips against Harry’s.
She expected Harry to kiss her back, but to her surprise, he didn’t move even after a while.
She was both angry and embarrassed as she pushed him away, ready to walk outside, only to hear Harry laugh quietly, then pull her back into his arms.
She bumped into Harry’s embrace, her light gasp silenced by his deep kisses.
Harry’s kisses became more intense, he lifted Isabella onto the sink, then carried her to the bedroom.
Isabella sank into the soft bedding and looked up to see Harry standing by the bed, calmly unbuttoning his shirt.
The bandages on his body had been removed, revealing firm, smooth musculature, exuding a uniquely male sensual attraction.
Isabella’s face was burning fiercely, unable to bear looking at him, she covered her head with the blanket, muttering, "I’m going to sleep! You go sleep in the other room!"
Harry’s tone was light and playful, "Connor probably won’t agree to that."
"I meant go to another bedroom, not to Connor’s!"
"Then when will your mother get to hold a grandson?"
"I... My mom’s not in a rush!"
"Hmm, actually my grandpa is pretty anxious."
Harry said, lying down on the bed, holding Isabella, enveloped in her blanket, "Wrapping yourself up so tightly will suffocate you while you sleep."
"I won’t!"
"If your mother finds out, she might think I’m mistreating you. If she gets angry, I might be taken away, are you willing?"
