Strax sat in the center of his room, a luxurious space decorated with dark and golden tones, reflecting the opulence of the Vampire Realm.
The walls were adorned with ancient tapestries, and the soft light of candles flickered, casting dancing shadows on the polished marble floor.
The silence was only interrupted by the faint sound of his breath as he stared at the floating system messages, his face illuminated by the ethereal glow.
[Mission Completed: Conquer the Three Vermillion Sisters – Reward: 100 levels gained.]
[Mission Completed: Conquer Scarlet Vermillion – Reward: 100 levels gained.]
Strax sighed, shaking his head as he read the details again. "Two missions completed... And, honestly, I'm surprised I'm still alive." He murmured to himself, running a hand through his messy hair. He could feel the weight of the changes in his body, but also the growing power pulsing through his veins.
"Conquering the Three Sisters was challenging enough," he thought. He remembered every interaction, every moment when he was on the brink of losing control or even his life. "But Scarlet... that was a whole different level." Her face flashed in his mind, her overwhelming presence, and the fire of her determination. He chuckled quietly, with a touch of exhaustion. "She almost killed me... several times."
He slid his finger to open a tab in the system, and suddenly, he was bombarded with a list of notifications detailing attribute increases and unlocked abilities.

Cristine, who had been watching the scene with her arms crossed and an amused smile, decided to chime in. "Well, at least he looks alive... for now."
Samira scoffed, stepping forward with determined steps. She stopped beside Strax and looked down at him as if she were a mother reprimanding a mischievous child. "You're acting like you didn't drive us crazy for weeks. Do you have any idea what we went through to find you?!"
Strax tried to argue, raising a hand to defend himself. "Look, I wasn't kidnapped on purpose... My dear Scarlet is... a little crazy."
"A little, is it?" Samira gave him an ironic smile and squatted down beside him, pulling his face close. "Say that again, but look me in the eyes, darling."
Strax opened his mouth, but before he could respond, Beatrice and Monica squeezed even tighter.
"He's ours now! You'll have to wait your turn!" Monica shouted, while Beatrice nodded vigorously.
"My turn?! He's OUR husband!" Samira retorted, pointing at the two.
"What's all this noise so early in the morning!" A shout echoed throughout the mansion... It was Cassandra...
Before Strax could utter another mischievous remark to ease — or worsen — the tension, a familiar voice reverberated through the walls of the mansion:
"What's all this noise so early in the morning?! Don't you have any decency?"
Everyone froze for a moment. Cassandra's figure appeared at the top of the stairs, her hair disheveled, clearly in a foul mood, like someone who had been yanked from a glorious sleep. She rubbed her eyes, but her sharp gaze quickly focused on the group.
"Oh, of course, it had to be you, Strax," she huffed, crossing her arms. "And what are these... three lunatics screaming about at this hour?"
"I'm not crazy!" Monica protested, still clinging to Strax's arm like a stubborn child.
"Oh, yes, because jumping on him like a hungry tigress is totally normal," Cassandra retorted with sarcasm.
Samira raised an eyebrow and pointed at Strax. "He's our husband, we'll do whatever we want."
"Sorry, little newborn, but this vampire here is OUR husband," Cassandra said, crossing her arms.
The room went completely silent... but not because of Cassandra saying "Our Husband"—they already knew that from the system messages—but...
"Vampire?" Samira was the first to break the silence, her voice laced with disbelief.
"Yep, vampire," Cassandra responded with annoyingly casual calm, crossing her arms as she observed the scene with a smile of pure delight.
"W-when did this happen?!" Monica finally managed to speak, taking a step back as if trying to process the information.
Beatrice, still holding Strax's arm, looked at him as if he had just grown a second pair of wings. "You... became a vampire?! How?!"
Strax opened his mouth to respond, but Daniela was quicker, pointing an accusing finger at him. "And you didn't think it was important to tell us this earlier, you jerk?!"
"Okay, everyone relax," Strax began, raising his hands in a defensive gesture, but his voice was drowned out by the chorus of questions that erupted at once:
"How did you become a vampire?"
"Who turned you?"
"Is this permanent?"
"Are you still the same Strax or have you turned into a monster?"
"Can I speak now?!" Strax exclaimed, his voice finally cutting through the confusion. He took a deep breath, trying to maintain his composure. "Yes, I became a vampire. No, it wasn't planned. Scarlet kind of... turned me."
"Scarlet?!" The four of them shouted in unison, the name echoing through the room.
