Chapter 205: Chapter 206: Loguetown
A few days later, on the shore of Orange Town, Boodle was wiping tears and snot, loudly shouting, "Goodbye! Have a safe trip!"
Jotaro came by chance, riding the wind as he left.
The group officially set out toward the Grand Line.
"This telescope sees so clearly." Nami stood in the top-level cockpit, fiddling with the telescope Jotaro had given her.
The powerful performance of the military telescope made her gasp in surprise again and again.
Aside from the image being several times clearer than any telescope she had used before, the military telescope was also equipped with infrared night vision capability.
This meant that Nami could grasp the surrounding environment even at night.
"I’ve never seen such an amazing telescope." Nami turned the dial, further improving the precision, "I wonder how much a telescope like this would sell for on the market."
She estimated to herself that the value would definitely not be less than one million.
In the telescope appeared a small island, and Nami informed Jotaro, "We’re getting closer and closer to the Grand Line."
"There’s a very famous town there, called Loguetown. The Pirate King Roger was both born and executed there, so some people call it the ’Town of the Beginning and the End.’"
Jotaro stood still on the deck, Star Platinum slowly fading behind him.
"I’m not too interested in matters of the Pirate King. But let’s dock up ahead anyway."
He could see much clearer than Nami, and this town was indeed much more developed compared to the towns they had been to before.
He planned to resupply at this place.
Jotaro lowered the ship’s anchor and tossed a few pieces of chocolate to Sea King.
He noticed that she seemed to quite like this kind of snack.
"You wait here for us, alright?"
Sea King only slightly poked her head out.
She was very smart, knowing that exposing her body size would cause panic among the people around, which would bring Jotaro trouble.
"!@#¥%... (Don’t worry, this princess will watch the ship for you.)"
She caught the chocolate and shrank back.
Jotaro turned his head to look at the others.
"Let’s go ashore."
Loguetown was quite prosperous, with people coming and going on the streets, and shops arranged closely together in rows.
Shinobu hung the Nichirin sword on herself and said, "I’ll go buy some medicinal herbs, and food for daily use."
Nezuko stuck close to her side, "Sister Shinobu, I’ll go with you."
Nami looked around, "Then I’ll just stroll around nearby too."
Jotaro glanced at the time and instructed them, "Then let’s meet back here in three hours."
He also had some things he needed to buy.
"Miss, which country are you from? I’ve never seen clothing like this before."
Two strong men carrying blades blocked Shinobu and Nezuko’s way, looking at them with lewd eyes.
Shinobu was wearing the Demon Slayer Corps uniform, with a butterfly-patterned haori over it.
Although Muzan had been eliminated by Jotaro and the Demon Slayer Corps had surely disbanded, she still kept this set of clothing.
The reason for wearing this was to be able to move better in case of sudden conflict.
Nezuko was wearing a pink kimono.
This was from the Tokyo Ghoul world, during one time they participated in a festival, and Jotaro had picked it out for her.
In his opinion, pink clothing suited Nezuko better.
Since Jotaro had specially chosen it for her, Nezuko had always been very fond of this outfit.
Their clothing was uncommon in the East Blue.
However, the reason these two strong men were attracted was not this, the key was the two’s outstanding looks.
One of them, with a sharp mouth and monkey-like cheeks, licked his tongue and reached his hand to place it on Shinobu’s shoulder, smiling slyly, "Miss, you must be here for the first time, right?"
"How about following us over there to have some fun?"
Shinobu’s half-smile was extremely gloomy.
"No need. We’re not planning to go there." She flicked away his hand with her sword’s scabbard.
"Yo!" His companion chuckled, "Looks like you’re a little one, but unexpectedly hot-tempered."
"Miss, a sword is quite dangerous, you know. I advise you to put it down."
He waved the large blade in his hand, making a veiled threat.
"Is that so?" Shinobu’s brows curved like a new moon, though she was smiling, the air around her had gradually begun to turn cold.
She did not have that much patience.
The Nichirin sword sprang out instantly, dancing rapidly in her hand, flashing blossoms of splendid sword light, and then she sheathed it.
Without even looking at the two, she said to the Nezuko beside her, "Let’s go."
The two strong men stared wide-eyed, just about to chase after them, when they realized their clothing had suddenly turned into strips of fabric falling off their bodies.
"Hahahaha..."
The surrounding people, seeing this, burst out laughing.
The way the two looked now was simply too ridiculous.
"Damn it!!"
Being humiliated like this by a little girl, the two were furious.
They exchanged glances, and the sharp-mouthed man said viciously, "Go! Let’s follow and make this b*tch look bad."
His companion nodded, he had to regain face.
"Wait a moment."
Just as the two lifted their legs, a deep voice sounded from behind them.
Jotaro’s light green eyes glimmered with a ghostly light, staring at them, and he said with no room for refusal, "You’d better come with me over there to have some fun."
Not far away, a patrolling Marine looked in this direction and said to his companion, "It looks like there’s a conflict over there, should we go over?"
His companion didn’t answer, his eyes fixed firmly on Jotaro’s face, and after a while he said, "Hey, that guy in black clothes and a black hat looks like a pirate."
"A pirate? No way. Loguetown is guarded by Captain Smoker, could there really be pirates who dare to come ashore here?"
Thinking of their captain’s terrifying strength, he shook his head, obviously not believing it.
"No mistake. That guy’s wanted poster just arrived here not long ago." His companion broke out in cold sweat, his voice trembling, "That’s a big pirate with a bounty as high as 30 million Berries!"
"We have to notify the captain immediately, there’s no way we can handle him with our strength."
In a dark side alley along the street.
"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!"
The two strong men were beaten by Jotaro without the slightest power to fight back, their faces swollen and bruised, their bodies covered in blood.
"P-please... please, spare... spare us." The sharp-mouthed man was in tears, groveling, "We won’t dare again, you are magnanimous, let us go."
Jotaro grabbed his collar and put his hand to his ear.
"Hah? You bastard, what are you saying? My ears are a bit bad, I can’t hear a thing."
The two’s bodies began to tremble violently.
Jotaro gave them another beating, and only when they lost consciousness did he casually toss them into a trash bin.
He took a cigarette from his pocket, just about to light it.
A man wearing a thick coat with his chest exposed, full head of white hair, walked over.
He glanced into the trash bin with a cigar in his mouth.
"Smoking such dainty cigarettes, I thought you were a refined person, didn’t expect you to be this brutal."
He clicked his tongue.
"Can’t even tell the shape anymore. These two are completely done for."
"Oh, right, mind lending me a light?"
Jotaro glanced sideways at him and tossed over the lighter.
Smoker caught it and played with it a bit.
"Strange design."
He lit the two cigars in his mouth, then tossed the lighter back.
"I’m in a pretty good mood right now. Even though you broke the rules, I don’t feel like arresting you. Get out of my sight."
