Chapter 220 Section 220 - Do As You Please

Despite the presence of over 150 military contractors of varying sizes in Chapala City, the security situation was not bad. There had never been chaotic scenes with the sounds of gunfire and explosions happening one after another.
Perhaps it was because of the concentration of military contractors that there was some deterrent effect.
The most unstable elements were merely petty thieves and extortionists, with few vicious cases involving loss of life. In the upscale communities where the military contractor employees lived, it was an oasis free from all sorts of crime.
When Chen Fei drove the electrically powered infantry armored vehicle onto the street, besides attracting a momentary lingering of curious looks, the traffic flow remained orderly, without the slightest disruption.
"'Rookie' has hit the road and is expected to arrive in ten minutes!"
With the help of communication equipment capable of covering a radius of 20 kilometers, Chen Fei immediately reported his position.
The destination was not far from the Apocalypse Defense Group headquarters. The unnecessary metallic parts inside the armored vehicle had been absorbed by his Metal Elemental Psychic Power's "Metal Devouring" Skill, making the vehicle light and nimble for deployment.
"Received, your coordinates have been confirmed."
In a van two streets away from the Apocalypse Defense headquarters, communication specialist Roland Michigan confirmed everyone's positions on the screen, then rapidly plunged into typing on the keyboard. A variety of interfaces appeared and disappeared on several nearby display screens of different sizes, and data streams cascaded like waterfalls.
Seasoned driver Claude Hughes was sitting peacefully on a nearby sidewalk bench with a hotdog and a coffee, with a thick newspaper in hand. He appeared inconspicuous but was able to monitor the surroundings.
Any slight disturbance and he would immediately jump into the vehicle to whisk away Roland and the equipment.
"I'm already inside the Apocalypse Defense headquarters, everything's gong smoothly!"
Hanna Gagel, already in position, was dressed in a crisp business suit, walking through the familiar office building, receiving salutes from the security guards she passed.
Pure Light Sparrow Xiao Jiu stood perched on her shoulder, unusually serious and still.
Deities from the Ministry of Internal Affairs were entities to be respected from a distance, and at first glance, one might forget the whole matter of resignation.
Most of the base-level employees probably had no idea about the dirty laundry between Apocalypse Defense and Jiu Defense; otherwise, they wouldn't have let Hanna Gagel enter the company headquarters so smoothly.
"Meizi's in position already!"
A bubbly high school girl in a JK uniform sauntered toward the back door of the Apocalypse Defense headquarters, closer to the parking area.
The interior surveillance footage of the Apocalypse Defense headquarters popped up on the display screens in front of communication specialist Roland Michigan. He let out a long sigh, scratching his thick, itchy beard and said, "White, I've got the security system. You're clear to move!"
The infiltration had been greatly simplified by having an insider.
However, Roland went the extra mile to make it seem as though a highly skilled team had forcefully breached the defenses. "The more you look, the more confusing things appear"—showing the opponent what they believe they want to see, not what you think, but what I think; that's what true masters do.
"Yosha, let the mission begin!"
A rope shot over the wall, simple yet effective. After tossing several large bags over, the demolition expert and gunsmith nimbly scaled the barrier.
The high-voltage induction wires were off and oblivious to this fact.
An old Caucasian man, dressed in work clothes and pushing a heavy cart, trembled along inside the grounds of the Apocalypse Defense headquarters, discreetly throwing or sticking strange objects into corners of significant locations when unobserved.
"Hanna, what are you doing here?"
On her way to the meeting room, Hanna Gagel was stopped in her tracks.
A short, bald, and unattractive old man stood beside her, still leering like an old pervert, accompanied by another secretary who, despite being replaced, still emitted a seductive, fox-like aura. Damn, it was like a den of foxes. The same kind of trash.
Beach!
"Old pervert, good dogs don't block the road!"
Hanna Gagel looked down at him and finally voiced the retort she had held back for so long.
Allan Green, the seventh-largest shareholder of the Apocalypse Defense Group and a member of the board of directors, had probably snatched up a good portion of the shares after the Gagar Family put all of theirs on the market.
"You, you... what do you mean?"
Short, bald, and unattractive Allan Green's face showed utter shock; no one had ever dared to insult him like this. It was simply preposterous!
Hanna Gagar calmly put on her sunglasses.
"Jiu!"
Next second.
"My eyes!" "I can't see!" "Ah! Who threw that flashbang!"...
The scene briefly became rather satisfying.
Hanna Gagar took out a small bottle of freshly squeezed chili sauce from the morning.
It is said that the best chilies come from Mesoamerica, with a really top-notch flavor.
With just a spray, it would bring about even more piercing screams, as the strong, muscular bodyguards writhed on the ground.
Such methods, carrying the full style of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, achieved the greatest results with the least effort, maintaining grace and composure throughout, an invisible pressure suffocating everyone.
"What on earth is going on?"
Hearing the commotion outside, an assistant in the boardroom peeked out, catching sight of a small spray bottle aimed right at his face, and couldn't help but freeze.
Spray... "Aahhh!!!"
Grabbing the dancing fool and tossing him behind her, Hanna Gagar squeezed through the door and faced the board of directors and several shareholders, who were staring in stunned silence, nodding her head in a charming greeting.
"Good morning, everyone, I'm Hanna, Hanna Gagar!"
The plan was unexpectedly smooth; she hadn't even needed to use some of the safeguards, and yet she had already successfully entered the meeting.
The atmosphere within Apocalypse Defense Group was depressingly complacent, lacking the slightest bit of vigilance.
Even if the security system was controlled by someone else, following security management protocols, they should never have allowed Hanna Gagar to march straight to the core with just a Pure Light Sparrow.
You could even say that by throwing a hand grenade into the boardroom now, she could watch Apocalypse Defense announce bankruptcy in tomorrow's news.
Had Apocalypse Defense, which the Gagar Family once helped found, really fallen to such lows in such a short time?
It was utterly disappointing!
Hanna Gagar couldn't feel any joy; her face darkened as she scanned everyone present.
"Hanna? Why is it you? Get out! This is no place for you, you're no longer part of Apocalypse Defense Group."
Chairman Erik Anthony, sitting at the head of the meeting, slammed his hand on the table, attempting to project his authority and drive away this unwelcome visitor.
After all, he was the leader of a top-ranking military contractor—how could he allow a former shareholder who had withdrawn her shares to act so brazenly?
"Dear uncles and sirs, let's get reacquainted, I am the CEO of Jiu Defense, Hanna Gagar!"
Hanna Gagar's smile gradually turned cold, and she locked the conference room door with a Heaven and Earth Lock, trapping everyone inside.
Erik Anthony shouted fiercely, "Hanna, I warn you, this isn't a place where you can do as you please. Get out!"
In his view, so-called Jiu Defense was nothing more than a child's joke; an old veteran like Apocalypse Defense could snuff them out with the back of their hand, and that's precisely what he intended to do now.
If she had any sense, she should kneel down obediently, offer up the 911 Aircrew Base and the "Genuine Fragrance" Combat Flight Squadron, and leave this industry forever.
Silly girl, she should marry off early, focus on being a wife and mother; this business was not for her.
"Heh heh, this place is indeed where I can do as I please!"
Hanna Gagar laughed coldly, as if confirming her statement.
Suddenly, a fireball rose in the park outside, followed by successive fireballs and the roar of explosions piercing the thick vacuum-sealed glass windows into the boardroom.
