After receiving the notification from the agent lawyer, Hanna Gagel was completely dumbfounded on the spot.
She had prepared as many as forty-seven alternative company names. She had even taken off her skirt, and this is what she got to see?
And, damn it, this "Jiu Defense Company," when on earth did she absent-mindedly add that? Oh wait, now she remembered, she was absolutely out of ideas and just wrote anything!
"It's over, it's over, why did it have to be this one? Can I cancel it? I want to cancel!"
"Sorry, the registered capital has already been locked. If you want to cancel it, you'll have to wait half a month for it to be unfrozen."
The agent lawyer on the other end was sweating profusely; he had been pushed so hard that he hurried through the process, only to find out that among the heap of alternative names, only one was available. There was no choice!
"..."
Slam! Hanna Gagel hung up the phone and furiously banged on the table.
"I'm going to kill you, I'm going to kill you! Kill you, ohhhhh..."
Outside the office, the subordinates who were originally preparing to report on their work felt their calves shaking upon hearing the noise inside.
The Iceberg is going crazy again!
-
Blossoms on both ends, each displaying a branch.
Inside the Eagle-Nest Airport in the Federated States of America's Snow Mountain State.
"Jiu Defense Company? Uh, this name is quite unique!"
Old David slightly twitched the corners of his mouth; the young are truly impulsive.
How could this name not be unique?
Unique enough that absolutely no one else wanted it.
What a disaster!
"It was purely an accident!"
Chen Fei rubbed his forehead; this old lady is so unreliable!
"Hahaha, life is full of disappointments, eighty percent of it is 'jiu'. Making the best of the moment is what matters most."
Old David gulped down the drink in his hand, then laughed and patted Chen Fei on the shoulder, set down a set of keys, and said, "These are your room keys. Eat slowly, drink slowly, I'm off."
Chen Fei watched as the old man ambled out of the cafeteria with his cane.
He sighed deeply.
Damned capitalism, having to work in his old age, it really isn't easy.
-
The next morning.
As the sun just spilled into Chen Fei's room, a rhythmic knocking sounded at the door.
"Who is it?"
Hurriedly getting out of bed, still sleepy-eyed, Chen Fei sized up the chestnut-haired Caucasian woman outside his door, dressed crisply in Western business attire.
"Hello, I'm from the immigration bureau's talent introduction office, Audrey Memphis."
The chestnut-haired Caucasian woman gracefully extended her hand to Chen Fei.
Just as Chen Fei was about to shift his focus back, he heard the other lower his voice and say, "Interested in picking up some chicks later? I know a place."
Pfft!
Upon hearing this, Chen Fei almost smacked him across the face.
What are you up to, Little Coal, not shining bright but pimping instead?
The Black female teacher Elisa noticed that Chen Fei and Randy were whispering and immediately said, "Gentlemen, please pay attention to the lecture."
"Don't worry..."
"Shh! We'll talk after class."
Chen Fei, frustrated, turned his attention back, making a mental note to ignore him from now on.
"Beep beep! There's a new blonde Persian cat in town, really fresh..."
The inattentive student, finding Chen Fei unresponsive, moved on to bother someone else.
Paying all that training fee just to pimp around is simply unbelievable.
"Mr. Chen Fei, would you answer this question, please?"
During the lecture, Salman, who was leading, wrote a problem on the blackboard for Chen Fei to solve on the spot.
"Uh... sorry, I don't know."
Chen Fei scratched his head; the problem was about an aircraft model he was unfamiliar with, so naturally, he didn't know how to answer.
"These are the basics – you still need to improve. Sit down for now!"
Salman had seen all kinds of strange students and wasn't angry in the slightest.
The skill levels of students varied, some hadn't even touched an aircraft before, and this young man from the East was probably in a zero-basis training, which was quite a burden on the teacher, deserving a raise!
That raise wouldn't come from Chen Fei himself, naturally; it would be covered by the organization.
Salman quickly introduced another question about the A-39B "Big Mouth Monster" light turboprop attack aircraft, no one could answer it, except for Chen Fei who unexpectedly raised his hand and gave a remarkably accurate answer that only a seasoned handler could provide.
Having noticed Chen Fei's narrowly specialized knowledge, Salman probed, "Mr. Chen Fei, which aircraft models are you familiar with?"
Chen Fei answered truthfully, "The A-39B 'Big Mouth Monster', MiG-28, and gyroplanes."
For other aircraft, unless it was for a "sacrifice," he was completely clueless.
"Pfft! Isn't that the standard issue for a military contractor?"
Randy and a few other students looked at Chen Fei in astonishment. What kind of guy was this little brother?
Indeed, a couple of people seemed quite thrilled as if they had found someone from the same field.
"Did you switch careers halfway? What did you study before?"
Salman caught on to this as well.
"Economics, bachelor's degree!"
Chen Fei shrugged his shoulders; rather than hiding and causing misunderstandings, he might as well be open about it
This career path was almost veering from the Sahara to Siberia.
The teacher and students were stunned.
