Your enemies increase in number daily, and that's because you follow what she tells you. But I feel like you will not listen regardless, so I'll let you be. However, I'll give you something to help you out," he said. A red light shot from him toward Silva.
Silva caught the item and looked at it. It was a cube with red patterns all over its body.
"What is this?" he asked, looking up, but the figure had already vanished. He looked around, but the man was nowhere to be found.
He looked at the item again. He didn't know what it was, but he could tell that it held some sort of deep importance.
What really worried him was the fact that this person actually knew about his connection with Ophelia. How could anyone he didn't tell know about that?
"A lot has happened in these few days, and it does not sit well with me," Silva said. He looked in the direction the man had been one last time, then spread his wings and shot into the air with another sonic boom.
He flew back into the town, going to finish what he started. As he left the field, the figure appeared in the field again.
"Do what you can, Silva. It might be your only hope of survival because I do not plan to let this world of lies last much longer," the figure said. His dark appearance vanished, revealing his face.
He had white hair like Silva, blue eyes, and the same pale skin. He looked to be in his middle ages with a small beard, but there was not a single wrinkle on his face.
He suddenly stretched out his hands, and space tore. A sword slowly emerged from the portal. It bore a striking resemblance to the Abyssal Blade but looked different to an extent and more dreadful.
He grabbed the sword's handle and pulled it out of the tear.
"This is the perfect location for the portal," he said and raised the sword. The sword exploded into pure black flames, the flames twirling around the blade as the temperature spiked drastically.
In this place, Ophelia, Order, and even that black asshole that is always with her can't see or hear me," the man said with a smile.
"Enough of this play!" the demon roared. He stretched out his right hand, and a sword manifested a pure black demon blade with red glowing patterns all over it. The demon swung it downward, and red flames exploded across the blade. Find your next read at My Virtual Library Empire
"Be happy, your death will be fast," the demon said and shot toward the man, his speed so fast that it was like teleportation. His sword traveled for the man's head.
But at the last moment, the man vanished. He appeared behind the demon and placed his hand on its back. "I'll be needing that sword," he said, then tapped the demon's back.
A powerful blast shot from his finger at the moment of the tap. The demon shot through the void and landed with a massive bang.
He got up in anger, his back burning as if it had been set ablaze. His eyes shined with rage. "You puny human, dieeeeeee!" he roared, his entire body erupting in flames. He stomped and shot into the air before diving toward the man.
"Absolutely stunning light show, but sadly, I'll still need that sword," the man said. He pulled his hand to his side, and his sword appeared. He slashed upward, and a black flame arc shot toward the demon.
The demon saw the flames and immediately tried to stop, fear gripped him. But there was nothing he could do. The flames hit him, slashing nearly half his body in a diagonal cut.
The two parts fell down, landing with a liquid thud. The man walked to the part that still had a head, looked at it, and smiled.
"Ho-how... do-do... you... h-h-have that f-f-lame?" the demon asked, struggling to speak.
The man bent down beside the demon and spoke with a smile.
"He gave it to me."
