"So, do you think what he used to transform was in that bottle?" Silva asked, approaching Raiden.
Lily came closer as well. She looked at Raiden as she spoke. "That's most likely it. Either it was the catalyst to start that change that was already in his body, or it was what changed him completely," Lily said.
"I see. Well, we won't know the details until we cut into him. His mind is pretty much corroded at this point, right? So talking to him is of no use.
We just need his body and his blood. You are the one that will be researching it, do whatever you deem fit. I'll be heading back now," Silva said and left the dungeon.
Silva's feet echoed as he walked through the dimly lit hallways, his every breath sounding distressed, as though something heavy weighed on him.
He paused, standing right there, leaned over, and placed his back against the wall with his eyes to the ceiling.
Slowly, he slid down. He sat on the floor, his head still facing the ceiling.
"Why do I have this crippling feeling that things are about to get bad? Why do I feel this way? Everything I've been doing for the past few days has just been to remove my mind from the fact that things might go bad.
And those dreams, they have returned. They left me long ago, but now I see flashes whenever I sleep—flashes of darkness and death.
I thought I was on the right path to escape all this. I have surrounded myself so much that I'm scared for each and every one of their lives."
Silva sat there in sober melancholy, his every breath shaking as it came out. The fear of the unknown was a crippling fear; it finds its way into the body.
Even when you believe you are not afraid, your body says otherwise, and that's what's happening to Silva. It felt like a dark cloud was looming over his head.
"I'll get through it. I have to. Whatever it is, I have to. My life and the lives of those I'm destined to keep depend on this." Silva steeled his resolve. He placed his hands on the ground and propped himself up, putting back his ruler face—the unshakable one.
"Blah blah. We are the ones that control what all these people think—heroes and demon kings. What we want them to believe is what they'll believe.
And for now, they all believe we are enemies. Well, we are, but not in the way they think. What am I even saying? Just give me a ride," White Fang said as he got on her back.

Elaine sighed and then charged through the town at sonic speed. She followed Silva's scent, trying to track him down.
"So, what do you think made the kid leave in such a hurry?" White Fang asked.
"Honestly, I don't have the slightest clue. But if I've learned anything from the kid, he has a chunk of secrets.
Even those closest to him don't know the full truth about him. So I'm guessing this is another of his secrets, and he needs to handle it with urgency," Elaine said.
"Silva, he is the definition of mystery, to be honest. Born a human, turned into a dragon demon king. Insane growth, seemingly unlimited potential.
He is something that should not be, yet is. That's the only way I know how to put the kid," White Fang said.
"I don't think there's a better way," Elaine replied and doubled her speed again, leaving the city and chasing after Silva.
She went through the forest, easily dodging the trees as she moved.
"His scent is getting faint. He is really fast. I'll have to add to my speed. Hold on tight," she said to White, and then she doubled her speed. Her fur glowed as she bolted through the forest like a beam of flexible light.
After a while of running, they spotted a shadow in the distance flying away. It was Silva, still a good distance away.
"That's the kid. Chase him," White said. Elaine went faster, reaching a new speed and covering the distance in a second.
