Gabriel spent the whole day worrying about the letter he had received, so much so that he put off going to the kitchen that day.
He left the city and headed into the forest alone; he didn't come back even when it got dark.
In the forest, Gabriel put on his former clothes, the clothes of Spark Blade, and when he was finished dressing, he took a deep breath. Experience tales at empire
He sat next to a tree, picked up a stick, and started hitting it against the ground. Its rhythm played slowly in his head as he calmed himself more and more with every second.
"I know you are already here. I won't be going easily, so come and fight already. I have things to live for now, so I'll give you a hellish time," Gabriel said and pulled out a dagger.
He stayed for a while, but no one came out.
"Oh, come on, you are wasting my time. Come and fight already, or isn't the organization after my head for being a traitor? Come out already!" he yelled.
"Enough with the noise, Blade. You should be happy we have given you some more time to be alive," Raiden said as he stepped out of the darkness.
"So they sent you, Raiden. How many people did you bring to kill me?" Gabriel asked.
"I brought a full squad of over fifty, but I asked them all to ensure no one comes here to disturb us while we have our fight.
For many years now, you have stolen the favors that should have been mine—the things that belong to me. Now I get to bash your head in as much as I like.
I could not have asked for a happier day than this. I'll make sure I bury my blade into your skull," Raiden said as he pulled out his sword and charged at Gabriel without wasting a second.
And Raiden reacted, stopping himself from falling backward and getting ready to block Gabriel. But Gabriel suddenly changed directions, dodging Raiden's sword and creating an opening to attack.
He immediately pulled out a dagger and threw it. It lunged into Raiden's guts and then followed up with a massive amount of lightning.
Raiden managed to stay standing and also move, but there was a massive wound in his guts, and he was bleeding out.
But Raiden didn't seem worried. He took out a potion and drank it all, and a few seconds later, the wounds started closing up, and his flames burned brighter.
"Since you have decided to make this hard for me, do not blame me for this," Raiden said. He held out his hands, and his flames erupted larger like a tornado. When it died down, he was like a flaming man completely.
He charged at Gabriel so fast that Gabriel could barely react. Gabriel pulled out a sword and tried to block, but the impact from Raiden was too much for him to handle, and he was thrown into the trees, smashing through dozens of them before coming to a stop.
He got up and tried to move, but Raiden was already coming from above with a punch. Gabriel quickly took out a talisman and activated it, vanishing into lightning.
Raiden landed on the ground with a loud bang. He turned around to see where Gabriel was, but he didn't see him. All of a sudden, lightning struck from above.
Raiden raised his sword to block the lightning, and as he did, Spark Blade took that as his opportunity. He charged at Raiden, taking out a long chain that had a hooked blade.
Gabriel threw the blade, and it dug into Raiden. The hook grabbed onto his rib bone, and then Gabriel sent lightning through it.
The massive volts of lightning traveled through the chain and the blade, electrocuting Raiden until he finally passed out right there.
Gabriel fell to his butt, taking deep breaths due to how tired he was. He stared at Raiden's body and forced himself up, going in with a knife to kill him.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
