I have some great news for you,” said An Lan with a beaming smile. “Is it that the President has given us a raise?” Unlike the excitement he felt in his dream at hearing this news, Ye Shikai was utterly devoid of excitement now, his face filled with anxiety. “Eh, how did you know?” “Is it 2000 for each person, and I’ve also been promoted to team leader by the President?” Ye Shikai was getting increasingly agitated, and he grabbed An Lan’s arms right in front of everyone, leaving her bemused by his demeanor. “Yes, how did you know?
