Listening to this, Su Ziqing huffed, her lips pursed high. As they passed a flower shop, a spark lit in her eyes. “Brother-in-law, wait here for me. I’ll go buy some flowers to apologize to my sister.” Saying this, she hurriedly ran inside, leaving Ye Shikai behind. This little niece of his, at least she had some humanity, even knowing to buy flowers for him, considering they’d just been ripped off at dinner. Twenty minutes later, Ye Shikai grew impatient. What kind of flowers take this long? He slowly pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and took a deep drag. Suddenly, Ye Shikai had a very bad premonition. “Brother-in-law, I’m back. Look at the flowers I bought. Are you satisfied?” Ye Shikai stared at the flowers in Su Ziqing’s hands, dumbfounded, his cigarette falling to the ground. There’s none bigger.” Ye Shikai clenched his fists tightly. He swore that for a moment he thought of committing murder, or suicide. Was Su Ziqing expecting him to kneel on that cactus to apologize? He couldn’t guarantee he’d still be able to stand after a whole night on it. Damn it all, looking at the clueless face of Su Ziqing, Ye Shikai frowned deeply. What sin had he committed? Did he have some feud with these sisters in a past life?
