But when one person faces everyone, the outcome is usually inevitable—Clayton lost. As the attacks intensified in both number and strength, his Water Dome began to crack, moments away from shattering completely. Just as it was about to break apart, Clayton’s body flickered—and vanished. The crowd froze, stunned. They stared at the empty space he had occupied, then rushed toward the gate in a panic. As they approached, tension and unease spread among them. It was like sharing lunch with someone wearing a knife or pistol as a necklace—deeply unsettling. Once partially recovered, Clayton stood and began exploring. Suddenly, a faint light appeared ahead. As if a switch had been flipped, the area lit up brightly. The strange light danced in the air, then formed a sentence: "Seek the Light!" Clayton stared in confusion, unsure what it meant. He waited in silence, hoping for another clue. A moment later—click!—the surroundings transformed into a mirror maze, like something from an amusement park. Reflections of Clayton and his mini skeletons stretched and twisted—big heads, tiny bodies, upside-down images. The illusions seemed to be caused by warped light. He continued observing until he noticed something odd—there was a shadow in the mirror that didn’t belong to him. Curious, he leaned in closer— Then, without warning, the shadow stepped out of the mirror and became a physical entity. Startled, Clayton didn’t hesitate. Bang! A water cannon blasted the figure, shattering it into pieces. As he approached the wreckage, he realized it was a living armor—an undead-like entity, similar to a skeleton. It immediately reminded him of his mini skeletons in berserk mode. "Is this where they evolve from? Or... did my mini skeletons originate here?" he wondered. But before he could think further, more living armors began to appear. Clayton quickly gave orders to his skeletons to engage. As the battle continued, he noticed something strange—these armors, like the undead skeletons before, could regenerate. However, each time one was defeated, a glowing light was absorbed by his mini skeletons—just like when they had once absorbed smoke from a decayed corpse. He was wary, but since the skeletons weren’t showing any adverse effects, he let it go. The battle dragged on, seemingly endless. The number of living armors felt infinite, and the surrounding illusions made it difficult to find an exit. Clayton began to tire, occasionally relying on spell scrolls to lighten the load. Thankfully, his past experiences had prepared him for drawn-out fights. Eventually, the final armor fell. Clayton exhaled deeply. Rumble! The entire room began to shake violently. Clayton braced himself, expecting a massive monster to appear—like before. But what came wasn’t a beast—it was darkness. Click! The lights went out. Pitch blackness engulfed the room. Tense and alert, Clayton watched as the floating light-text from earlier suddenly shot toward him like a missile. He tried to dodge or block it—but it was too fast. The light struck his forehead. Clayton’s body froze. Red veins bulged across his face and limbs. He collapsed, convulsing, foam at his mouth. He couldn’t move. He was completely helpless. Agonizing pain surged through his nerves, while foreign memories tried to force their way into his mind, threatening to split his head open. Thick, black sludge oozed from his pores—sticky, disgusting, and oily. Finally, the spasms stopped. His breath grew calm. His consciousness returned. As the stench of his own body hit him, Clayton realized what had happened: the light had purified him completely. He was in awe. All this time, he had used Purification entries—yet he had still been this filthy? "If I’m this dirty... what about everyone else?" he thought. He quickly began to clean himself. While doing so, he reflected on the new memories in his mind. Apparently, "Seek the Light" was a riddle—the goal was to find the correct door hidden among many illusions. However, because Clayton had defeated all the living armor, the dungeon system marked him as an exception—revealing the exit directly. Once fully recovered and ready, he made his way toward the final light in the room. In the pitch-black void, a single point of light shone—bright and inviting. After a long walk, he reached it. It was a gate, just like the one he had entered before. He hesitated, wondering if this would take him back to the previous zone. Not wanting to risk it, he sent one of his mini skeletons in first. Once it confirmed the path was safe, he followed. The moment he stepped through, Clayton was transported again. When he arrived at the new location, he looked around in disbelief. "...Why is this place completely empty? Did I go the wrong way?""
