Chapter 248. Ignatia and Flor’s Love Den. Flor’s Decision With The Title. (R-15)
After Flor returned with the others, she was confused about how things would develop now. In the first place, while they won this battle, they didn't really attack the enemy's base, so they were back in their city without significant repercussions other than the loss of soldiers.
With the doubt on how things would develop from now, she decided to ask Taro, Delia, Kael, and Thalia about it.
"What to do from now on?"
Delia asked back after hearing Flor's question. Flor nodded and commented. "In the past, in the wars that I participated in, The other side was crippled beyond a threatening position. But that's not the case with Eila and the others. Once they recover, they can attack at any time. So, what do we do now?"
Delia looked at Flor and smiled. "Okay, this is how things will develop from now on. First of all, since we've won the war and also managed to annihilate Elowen's army, they won't dare attack us again in a short amount of time. Thalia and Kael are not a big part of their own sects. However, Elowen was the Sect Master. Therefore, the most probable development is either revenge from the <Midnight Foxglobe Sect> or that they will leave us alone for a long time while trying to ask for reinforcements."
Flor frowned. "So... We are still at war?"
Delia nodded. "We are. However, we are now in a truce. After all, both sides need to recover from the battle. While fighting each other is about weakening the other side as much as possible, we must always take into account that we are surrounded by other evil groups that might take advantage of the situation if we go too far."
"Are you talking about the Nexus people?"
Delia nodded and explained gently. "In my case, I was careless, and my daughter got captured by them. Things would've gone very differently if it hadn't been for Liu Shu helping me recover her. That's why I will forever be grateful to her."
"I see..." Flor rubbed her chin and asked. "How long do these pauses on the War usually last?"
Delia got thoughtful and said. "Probably a few months. Healing some injuries will take a while. Taking into account that the people on both sides are also going to use the experience they earned to Level Up, I would say the truce will last between three and six months." She then added. "If you have anything to do now that will take a lot of time, I recommend doing it now."
Flor blinked and looked at her title message. "I do indeed have something to do."
Delia smiled. "That's great. I also have a few things to do. I will take my army and return to my city. I need to see how the cleanse I prepared did."
Flor nodded and smiled. "Good luck, Delia."
The City Lord stood up and left. After that conversation, Flor flew across the city and went into the ant nest, approaching where Ignatia was.
She entered Ignatia's room, ready to speak to her about her plans. "Ignatia-Hyau!?"
The Ant Queen was completely naked and lying on a leaf-bed, her ant abdomen throbbing as she lay eggs. Her very curvy body and white skin were a marvel to the eyes, and even the large ant section of her body had a certain charm with the glossy carapace surface. The red-haired Ant Queen turned her head and smiled seductively, her tone sounding alluring and inviting. "Flor~? You are such a bad girl, aren't you? Coming in at such a private time."
The Rose Fairy, who had frozen, mesmerized by Ignatia's seductiveness, snapped out of her daze and quickly spluttered. "I-I am going to go! S-Sorry for intruding-"
"Go?" Ignatia's natural reddish lips arched. "Where do you think you are going? Come here, I need to punish you now so you don't forget it."
Flor's face went almost as red as her own hair, and she looked around nervously. "N-No need to! I promise that I understand..."
"Come over."
Flor flinched when she heard Ignatia's commanding tone, and she flew forward while trying not to look at Ignatia. Ignatia smiled faintly, and when Flor was close enough, she snatched the Rose Fairy and placed her on the bed. Ignatia moved on top of her, and due to their size difference, Flor was suddenly squished between Ignatia's large breasts while having the Ant Queen's face right above hers.
Ignatia looked at Flor and smiled. "What's wrong?"
"I am... confused." Flor started.
Ignatia hummed and asked back. "How so?"
"Well. Lately, I feel that my future is strangely... foggy. I can feel the weight of the years on me and also that things are much more difficult to learn..." Flor asked, somewhat worried. "Do you think that I have less lifespan left than I anticipated?"
The Ant Queen looked at Flor's pretty face, and she noticed the very faint wrinkles at the sides of her eyes. They were very small, but compared to the youthful-looking Rose Fairy Queen of the past, the current Flor looked at least 20 years older in human years.
Ignatia used her fingertip to caress the wrinkles, making Flor feel a bit ashamed. "I didn't notice them until not long ago..."
Ignatia smiled. "Don't worry, Flor. Once you accept this title, I am sure that your lifespan will increase by a lot."
Flor hummed. "What if it doesn't change my race? What if it is just a title and I need something more to gain the full benefits?"
"Then, we will search for it together." Ignatia smiled and continued. "My lifespan is quite long, similar to that of a Sylvan. So, I don't have any intention of spending only a fraction fo that with you. I want to spend most of it with you."
Flor looked at Ignatia with a bit of pity. "We had so many years to get to know each other, but instead, we passed it fighting with each other."
Ignatia smiled. "Well, the Golden Sap Forest before Liu Shu appeared was quite a monotonous place, wasn't it?"
"It was..." Flor remembered those times and laughed. "If Froorar was able to look at the current us, he would probably flee with his tail between his legs."
Ignatia laughed as well. "Well, it's honestly a shame that he died and we couldn't ally with him."
Flor frowned. "Huh? Why? He was a Thornstride! They eat trees!"
Ignatia commented. "While not at my level, don't you remember how he was humanoid? He was quite a rare Thornstride. If he was given enough time and I wasn't here, he would've probably taken over the Golden Sap Forest."
Flor blinked. "Really?"
Ignatia nodded. Then, she looked at Flor and said. "Now, accept the title here with me. Let those above deal with other matters."
Flor smiled. "Okay." Then, she looked at her system.
[Would you like to gain the <Flower Fairy Monarch> title?]
"Yes!"
Ignatia then felt the ternary essences around her starting to go berserk and rushing toward Flor. Flor's eyes opened wide for a second before she closed them and entered a deep meditative state.
Ignatia smiled and kissed her head gently.
