He is already thinking of the lives of the men in the amount of money he will have to spend to earn the same amount of karma. By his calculations, it is worth a lot, so it is worthy of his time.
With this kind of value, he wants to kill more thugs and let more people know about it so that he will be able to maximize his karma from it.
So he couldn't wait as he went about asking people for information about the Black Band gang. This information included the whereabouts of their headquarters or base.
He wanted to know everything about them. Fortunately, there was an easy way to identify the member of a Black Band gang. They always had a black band around their arms, so they could be pointed out in a crowd.
This convenience reduced the difficulty of executing his plan. Combined with the information he got from the people that lived in the area, he was able to make swift progress in eliminating the Black Band gang.
The Black Band gang is a small gang that is in charge of the criminal activities in the area. They also collect tolls and fees from everyone that does any type of business in the area. This is probably why they approached him.
They wanted to collect a fee from him for his actions of giving people bread. When he wasn't willing to do business with them, they decided to hamper his business by making people too afraid to come.
This is a common business practice for the Black Band gang. Anyone that tries to run any business in this area must add the cost of paying off the gang to their budget of expenses. It doesn't matter if that business is a charity.
Unfortunately, their actions made him clash with someone who the jury is still out for concerning his mental state. Actually, some people are sure that he is crazy and have said so many times.
Those people who say that he is crazy will feel vindicated when they hear of how many people he killed that morning because they didn't want people to come and receive bread from him.
He was keeping track, so he knew that he killed 17 thugs, male or female. He didn't spare anyone because of their sex.
It was early in the morning, so businesses will just be opening. The member of the gang will use this time to go around extorting every business in the area.
He was cut here and there in several places on his body. They weren't injuries that he had never experienced before. He was used to injuries like that under the training of his mother, so they were not enough to make him stop.
Besides, his actions had drawn a lot of attention. There were many onlookers spectating by the side. Their presence and the karma he was receiving from them spurred him on.
While he was fighting, Lady Vena and Brooks were watching him.
Lady Vena teared up at the sight of him killing people. She said, "My boy is all grown up."
Brooks saw the headless men littering the ground and the blood flowing everywhere. It reminded him of the first time he met Lady Vena.
So he nodded his head in agreement and said, "Indeed, he has. He is almost like his mother."
Lady Vena sighed and said, "I just wish he had done this for their money instead of the interference in that thing he wastes time on."
Brooks smiled. "I'm not surprised actually. Young master has always been particular about helping people with bread. Someone was bound to interfere, and he was bound to snap."
"If there is anything to be surprised about, it is that he is using his money to get the bread instead of seeking donations from his neighbors."
That made Lady Vena chuckle.
She was in a good mood because her boy had taken her advice and had been swift in his actions. She was also optimistic about the repercussions of his actions.
She said to Brooks, "The Black Band gang should be part of a network of gangs, right?"
