They had thought that since he could earn hunting points without risking his life, they could do it too. But instead of finding their own means, they decided to advantage of him. Many of them did so. Apart from these, everything was as usual on the fifth floor. The hunters drinking and chatting stopped chatting. Some of them still drank, but they were all watching him. Their eyes stayed on him as if he owed them money. They watched him walk into the floor and approach the counter, where the only attendant was. On the first floor, there are many counters where animals are inspected and where rewrds are handed out. But on this floor, there are only two counters. Both of the counters are small, and both of them are for rewards. If anyone wants to submit a beast carcass, they have to go to the first floor to do so. The frequency at which people needed the services at the attendant at the counter was also low, so the two counters were currently free. He didn't have to line up before someone attended to him. He told the attendant what he wanted to do. She nodded and went around in the back looking for the contract for the weapons. In the meantime, he was to make his selections first. The extraordinary weapons were displayed below the exchange list. He went there to examine them and choose the ones he liked. The exchange list was a large board hung on the wall for everyone to see. The contents on the board were so large that they could be seen everywhere in the room. Below the exchange list was the long section of weapons placed on pedestals or hung on racks for everyone to see. He walked up to this selection to make his choice. In terms of weapons, there was a silver-white gauntlet, a pair of red daggers, a long blue spear, a shiny giant sword, a smaller sword, a large black hammer, a black whip, and a large golden axe. There were no bows. There was also armor available for exchange. One of them looked like a dress. It was plate armor made in the form of a dress. It was green and light. The dress armor reminded him of the kind of armor his mother likes to wear and create. He thought to himself, "It is probably created from some poor snake's scales." He didn't care for the dress, so he put his sight on other armor. There were three more types for him to look at. One of them was a cuirass. It could only protect his torso. He slipped over the cuirass in favor of the complete and full-length plate armor. It reminded him of his black armor, so he liked it at first sight. The fourth armor on display was a white strip of cloth wrapped around a wooden humanoid doll. It made the doll look like a mummy. This was the first time he was seeing this time armor, so he was interested in it. He decided to read the information tag next to it. From what he read, he found out that the white strips were not cloths. It was leather made from the hide of a rank two boar. The hide of the boar had been processed in such a way that its thick metallic fur was fused with the softer skin below. So the strips were as durable as metallic plates but lighter. The strips could defend against piercing and cutting injuries. It would do so without weighing him down. But it couldn't do much to protect him from blunt damage. He shook his head and said, "Weird things are available in this world." He decided to check the price of every armor before making a decision. He did so and discovered that the most expensive armor was the white strip armor. The next most expensive ones were the full-length plate armor and the green dress. The cuirass was the least expensive one. He didn't expect it at all. He expected the cuirass to be more expensive than the white strip armor. He muttered to himself, "That's not right." "How can a continuous strip of leather made from the hide of some animal be as expensive as a full-length plate armor?" He couldn't believe it at all, so he checked the price again to make sure he wasn't mistaken. But no matter how he checked it, the white stripe armor was the most expensive. "Something isn't right. I must be missing something." He still couldn't believe it after confirming the price several times, so he decided to ask the attendant at the counter for more information. This attendant was a woman who appeared to be middle-aged. He said to her, "Auntie May, why is the armor made of white strips the most expensive armor?" He called her Auntie May because that's what she asked him to call her. She glanced at him and said in her usual grumpy tone, "Boy, the white strip armor is called the second skin. It is very expensive because it was refined by a top-notch crafter into a material that doesn't lose out to the plate armor in what it is good for." "In fact, it is better than plate armor in terms of resistance to piercing damage and equal to it in terms of resistance to cutting and slashing damage. Its only weakness is that it can't block heavy blows. But it makes up for it by being light." "If you think about it, heavy blows can only come from someone close to you. With this armor, all you need to do is keep your distance between yourself and the source of the blunt damage. It will be easy to do because the armor is light."
