If he kills one tenth transformation beast with each arrow of 1,500, he will gain 150,000 points. That isn't so in reality, though. In reality, he misses 10% of his shots and 20% of the ones that hit that don't kill the beasts immediately. So only 70% of his shots can grant him kills worth 100 points each. 70% of 1,500 arrows is still a lot. If 70% of that many arrows grants him 100 points, he will still gain 105,000. So the limit is not caused by a lack of arrows. The thing limiting him is that there are no more beasts around to kill. There is a limit to the number of beasts in the waters around each island. Right from the moment he reached 5,000 points, he had begun to be constrained by this limit. After killing 50 beasts at the tenth transformation, he gained 5,000 points. Unfortunately, the population of such beasts began to dwindle at that point. The more powerful beasts stayed deeper in the water while the weaker ones stayed closer to the surface. As for the beasts at the seventh transformation, he will only gain 10 points for killing them. 10 points was too small for him. He didn't want to tire himself out killing such small fries while surrounded by enemies. If he were alone, he would still be picky about what kind of beasts he should kill. 10 points won't be worth the arrow and the energy needed to pull the massive bow. But he is not alone. He is surrounded by danger on every side. He has only killed 360 beasts, which took a lot of a toll on him. It took him 515 shots to kill that many because only 70% of his hits were rewarding. These 515 shots have made his arms sore. If he is to have the energy to fend off the 1,000 enemies around him, he will need to recover quickly. So Arthur stopped killing the beasts and decided to rest. Patriarch Calcetti was not surprised to see this. In fact, the patriarch's eyes lit up, and he said, "Things are about to get interesting." In the examination ground, Arthur sat down and began using his breathing technique to recover his stamina. He stood hunting and decided to rest so that he could hunt more. He had decided to examine other examinees. For that to happen, he needed strength. His targets are the examinees on the other islands nearby. Unfortunately, he couldn't get his way. Immediately he stopped shooting arrows and sat down to rest, the people who had been scheming to gang up on him became restless. Resting was a clear sign of weakness. Seeing him decide to rest, they thought that this was the best time to ambush him. They were right to think so. He was indeed in his weakest state currently. Unfortunately, they were not strong enough to take him on. They were not strong physically or mentally enough to defeat him. But it wasn't enough to deter all of them. They were ready to die. That's what they were paid to do. As long as they consume part of his strength, their death would be useful. So there were still many people rushing towards him to kill him. But as more and more of them disappeared in a flash of red light without being able to get close to him, they were beginning to have second thoughts. The first group to attack him was led by a young master with 40 people. There were other groups that wanted to attack him. But they were waiting for the first group to gain some result before they took action themselves. Unfortunately, the outcome of the first fight was underwhelming.
