Chapter 51: Drunken Master "Hmm~" Hei Long rubbed his chin thoughtfully as he wandered through the sect. His footwear crunched softly against the gravel paths, his sharp gaze drifting lazily from one spot to the next. Around him, disciples moved about—training, meditating, or sparring—but many paused to offer respectful nods or curious glances as he passed. Hei Long tried his best to acknowledge all of them. ’Where could this elder be?’ he mused. He hadn’t been given a specific location—only a name and a rough region of the grounds where the elder was supposed to be. Not exactly helpful. Still, Hei Long preferred arriving early rather than late—especially on the first day. There was no telling what kind of punishment a drunk woman might dish out for tardiness. So, he wandered, taking in his surroundings with a mixture of curiosity and mild annoyance. Then Hei Long saw her. At first, she was just a splash of gold in the distance—standing out from the muted earth tones of the courtyard like sunlight cutting through fog. But as Hei Long drew closer, her form came into view more clearly, and he instinctively slowed his steps. She was beautiful. Striking, even. The woman wore long yellow robes that clung to her figure just enough to tease the eye, the fabric flowing like water over her curves with each subtle movement. Her skin was pale and smooth as porcelain. Her eyebrows arched gracefully over a pair of sharp, silver eyes—eyes that gleamed like moonlight against the backdrop of her jet-black hair, tied into a high, loose braid that swayed slightly as she moved. And then... Hei Long’s gaze dropped. ’Damn,’ he thought, eyes widening slightly. ’She got some big tits...’ There was no hiding it—her chest was generous, even by sect beauty standards. But what stood out even more was the massive barrel strapped to her back, sloshing audibly as she took a long swig from a ceramic flask— The scent of strong liquor hung faintly in the air around her. She was clearly drinking—in broad daylight—without a care in the world. And she wasn’t alone. As Hei Long approached, he spotted the person standing beside her, holding what looked like a second jug and laughing awkwardly. It was Lin Fan. He quickened his pace, hands behind his back, still watching the elder with interest. Mu Qianxu’s expression was relaxed, almost lazy, as she swayed slightly with every sip, occasionally gesturing dramatically as she talked. She seemed amused by Lin Fan’s attempts to impress her—but not particularly impressed herself. Now that he was close enough, Hei Long could make out her voice—low and husky, with the faintest edge of a drunken drawl. Mu Qianxu leaned back slightly, flask still in hand, her gaze sliding lazily in Hei Long’s direction. Their eyes met. Hei Long smiled. "Who’re you...?" Mu Qianxu slurred, voice soaked in liquor and indifference. She lowered her half-empty flask and tilted her head, her eyes glazed but sharp enough to focus. "..." Before Hei Long could answer, a loud voice cut in— "You bastard! What are you doing here? Get lost!" Lin Fan pointed furiously with his free hand. He gestured as if trying to shoo him away like a stray animal, his face twisted with indignation. Hei Long didn’t even flinch. He didn’t even look at Lin Fan. Instead, he kept his eyes calmly on the elder and spoke with his usual smooth confidence. "My name is Hei Long," he said with a light bow of his head: "Young master of the Hei family... and, of course, this sect’s Saint." "..." Lin Fan visibly froze. His hand dropped slowly, as if the air had just been punched out of his lungs. His expression contorted, a mix of rage and suppressed inferiority swelling in his chest. He bit the inside of his cheek to keep from yelling again. Mu Qianxue blinked a few times, as if trying to process what she just heard. "Oh~" she hiccuped: "So you’re the Saint..." Mu Qianxue took another sip, then began walking toward Hei Long in loose, unsteady steps, her long yellow robes swaying with her movements. Wthout warning— She leaned in close and sniffed the air around him. A beat of silence passed. "You smell like you just had sex," Mu Qianxue declared bluntly. Hei Long raised a brow and casually pointed at himself: "I do? Huh... well, I suppose it’s hard for women to keep their hands off me." Mu Qianxue blinked, then laughed. A low, throaty giggle slipped from her lips. "You’re cocky. I like that," Mu Qianxue muttered, swaying slightly before taking another drink: "Men like you usually deny, deny, and deny..." Meanwhile, Lin Fan looked like he was about to burst into flames. "Disgusting bastard!" he shouted, stepping forward and glaring at Hei Long: "Have some respect when you’re in front of my master!" Hei Long finally turned his head, giving Lin Fan a bored side-glance. "Oh, your master?" he repeated, a smirk creeping across his face: "Last I checked, we were both assigned to her. Unless you’ve been adopted while I wasn’t looking." Lin Fan grit his teeth: "You think this is funny?!" "Not funny," Hei Long said casually: "Hilarious." Mu Qianxue chuckled again, wiping her mouth with the back of her sleeve. "Stop barking, Lin Fan. If he’s the Saint, he’s technically got a higher status than you," she said, clearly amused but not denying it. Lin Fan’s face twisted in disbelief. "T-Technically?!" Hei Long stuck out his tongue. "Don’t worry. You can still be her favorite student... maybe." Mu Qianxue burst into laughter again, nearly stumbling as she clutched her wine gourd. "Oh gods," she muttered, wiping a tear from her eye: "I haven’t been this entertained before noon in years." Hei Long just folded his arms: ’It seems she already likes me more than Lin Fan...’ Lin Fan’s hands clenched at his sides: ’Damn it! This bastard can’t keep himself away from me and my future women!’
