He lay flat on his straw mattress, one leg draped off the edge like a lazy cat, chest rising and falling as he panted slightly from... well, being alive, mostly. It had been a long day. The plants were watered, the house was still standing, and he hadn't been turned into a kebab by Alex. A solid day in goblin terms. His muscles ached, his brain felt like mashed potatoes, and he was 90% sure he could still smell Alice's shampoo in his dreams. "Damn... this body's got no stamina." He stretched, arms behind his head, his loincloth barely covering the family jewels like always. It wasn't laziness—it was a fashion statement. Probably. He let out a sigh, then focused back on the screen. Overwhelmed by the thrill, Rae twirled around in circles, his green goblin dong doing its own independent helicopter routine beneath his loincloth. "HELICOCKTER! HELICOCKTER!" He yelled gleefully. But then another message popped up. [You have grown 2 centimeters.] "Huh?" Rae blinked at the message. He had grown two centimeters? Instinctively, he looked down. Nothing felt... longer. [Overall height...] "Oh. Be specific, damn it." Rae nodded to himself with exaggerated wisdom. He was still a gremlin—barely three and a half feet tall—but now, with this glorious two-centimeter upgrade... "Three and a half plus two centimeters is... uh... yeah, whatever." It wasn't that Rae didn't know math or anything. Obviously. He was just a goblin now. A stupid goblin. If he were in his human body, he'd have calculated it perfectly. Like, instantly. With decimals and everything. He shrugged it off. There were far more important things to worry about. His hand slide down toward that important thing... ... Meanwhile, in the calm, magic lamp-lit comfort of Alex's bedroom, the hero himself was nose-deep in documents—parchments, maps, kingdom reports—stuff only kings and overachievers pretended to care about after sunset. He was sprawled sideways on the bed, one arm tucked under his head, eyes lazily scanning the lines. The baby snored softly in a bundle nearby, out cold like only tiny humans could be. Click. The bathroom door creaked open, and a warm cloud of flowery steam spilled out like a whisper from heaven's private spa. The scent of lilac, honey, and expensive shampoo swept through the room like a secret invitation. But Alex didn't look up. Not yet. Then came Alice's soft voice. "Dear... I was thinking... tonight, maybe..." . . . What might be Alice wanting to do tonight? Any idea? :)
