I’d obtained good rewards. The Hobgoblin’s corpse still lay stretched on the ground. I thought "I don’t want to but I have to do it," then I approached the hobgoblin and with the steel sword I cut open its chest, where its heart should have been there was a green core. Furthermore, monsters would never reappear in this area, it had become a conquered zone. I could see on the map that this piece of land had been annexed to my clan, for some reason the entire path we had used to get here was now my territory. I walked back down the path when I heard noises. My super sharp senses alerted me that something was very wrong. I took the [E] level bow, stopped, and stayed silent before materializing a lunar arrow and launching it with all my might towards the trees. A pained scream resonated and I ran to check what I had killed. Arriving I saw two Sealakels pierced and pinned to a tree by my arrow. A few seconds later the arrow lost its presence vanishing into nothing and both beasts fell to the ground dead. "Looks like more will join the party... I should hunt them, I want to gain some levels." I hid behind a tree and saw several groups roaming the area. The situation became complicated as I saw several Sealakels using steel armor and giant spears or swords, typical equipment of [Sealakels Commanders]. I thought "if my memory serves me right, these beasts are level 35, it could be suicide to throw myself against all these alone..." Seeing the situation was bad I decided to retreat silently. I ran back down the same path and found Lira who was on a tree observing from a distance. "Didn’t I tell you to go back?" "Sorry boss, I asked permission to wait for you. If I saw you being chased I could give my life to help you escape." "..." The seriousness with which Lira spoke made me silent. I couldn’t believe she was willing to sacrifice her life that way. I patted her on the head and said. "Don’t waste your life, nothing is more important than your own life." Lira held her head while pouting angrily. Seeing me leave she followed me walking, though the whole way she had that annoyed look and her lips turned up. We walked back to the village where all the girls were already at the entrance in their combat clothes in formation. It seemed they expected the monster to be chasing me so they could attack it. "Come on girls, you shouldn’t underestimate me that way! It was just a giant goblin, nothing too difficult." Seeing me the girls relaxed. "It’s a relief to see you well boss, too bad you missed the spectacle of all this running all the way back..." Riven’s words were very suggestive, but just when I thought that was it she leaned close to my ear and whispered. "If you want to see it more closely you can come to my hut anytime." I wasn’t going to screw her, well... not yet. I just needed to lay her down to rest, she had suffered an MP exhaustion rebound. It was a very common occurrence and didn’t risk the user’s life, they would just have extreme exhaustion for a day, everyone had to go through this until they learned their own limits. [Temporal Evaluation lvl 1]: Allows to reveal the secrets of any object, even its past to better know its future. "Hahahaha!" I couldn’t hold back my laughter. I searched for that ability everywhere when I first arrived, what kind of otaku doesn’t want to be able to enslave others?
