Li Chen flew into a rage, feeling True Qi inside him beginning to surge uncontrollably, longing to burst forth, but Lin Yi’s groans in front of him pulled Li Chen back to reality! It was a crucial moment for extracting the poison. He could undoubtedly catch the attackers if he went after them now, but Lin Yi’s life would be left hanging by a thread. Without Li Chen’s True Qi, not only would previous efforts be wasted, but it could have a negative effect on Lin Yi. Upon seeing Li Chen enter, she couldn’t help but throw herself into his arms. “Wuu wuu wuu” “It’s okay now, Brother Cheen is here,” Li Chen comforted Wang Qianqian while speaking to her. “What happened? If they were just thugs, although Linchuan City was only one city, the number of thugs within it was countless. Finding the exact person was nearly impossible. Even with Shadow on the case, it would take some time. “What about the surveillance footage?” Li Chen asked. Generally, companies install surveillance cameras, and through the footage, one could naturally identify their faces. “No use.” A guard shook his head, “The gang came prepared, with their faces covered. The middle-aged man behind the bar brought over a drink and discreetly pocketed the money inside his sleeve. “Looks like you’ve done another job, huh?” Old Yao remarked casually. “That’s right.” Red Hair moved the drink aside, pocketing two wrapped packages of powder. “What did you do this time?” Old Yao asked with a smile. “Just some tasks released by the Lin’s,” Red Hair lifted his glass and drained it in one gulp. “How’s the stuff this time?” Red Hair burped, the ring on his nose vibrating. “Guaranteed to delight,” Old Yao said with a smile. Red Hair wiped his eyes, something was wrong, he was hallucinating. When had a person appeared so silently across from him? Rubbing his eyes again, the person across started speaking, “Feeling good?” “Good, huh? Who are you?” Red Hair replied instinctively but then quickly realized and looked at the other person warily, his right hand already reaching for the machete hidden in the seat’s compartment! “Good to hear, I’ll make you feel even better!” Li Chen leaned in with a smile, but for some reason, Red Hair felt an inexplicable chill in that smile. “Feel good my ass, I’ll kill you first...” Red Hair drew his machete and swung it fiercely at Li Chen, his words roared with defiance, but the next moment, before he could finish speaking, he was abruptly cut off. The hand swinging in mid-air was suddenly twisted, Red Hair’s face drained of color as the sound of snapping bones cracked, followed by an intense surge of pain, turning his words into the squeal of a slaughtered pig! However, just as Red Hair was about to let out a tragic scream, a hand grabbed his head and smashed it viciously down onto the glass table below! “Crash” The glass table shattered instantly, and Red Hair’s agonized scream was stifled back down!
