Additionally, if possible, he wanted to fulfill several other wishes deep in his heart. He strived to depart this world with minimal regrets and leave behind his own small legacy and legend. To achieve that, financial support was indispensable. Playing the stock market and gambling were both quick ways to money. Being an honest man, he certainly couldn’t gamble, so that left the stock market. As for buying lottery tickets or anything of the sort, he definitely couldn’t do that again, or he’d have people after him and end up in trouble. He didn’t have much time left and didn’t want to get embroiled in unnecessary troubles. "You’re going to play the stock market?" Lin Wan and Wu Mengting both looked at him incredulously. "Do you understand stocks?" Wu Mengting asked, concerned. The domestic stock market is very complex, especially for the individual investors who are destined to be the leeks ready for the big players to harvest. After eating some more, the two women stopped and Lin Wan said directly, "In a few days, our lease on the current place is up. We’ve found a new place to rent and plan to move. I hope you can come and help us then, okay?" When Chen Feng heard this request, he found it difficult to refuse and nodded in agreement, "Okay, just let me know when." "Thanks, Brother Feng!" To get back to their rented place at this hour, it would take at least an hour. Wu Mengting hesitated briefly before nodding, "Alright, just for tonight." So, they went and booked a double room on the same floor as Chen Feng’s current room, just a few doors down. After getting the room card, they went upstairs with Chen Feng. Riding the elevator, Chen Feng always felt something was off. This situation made it seem like the three of them were getting a room together. Of course, he might be overthinking it. The two ladies were still very pure in thought, at least they probably didn’t have the same ideas as Chen Feng. They went up to the seventh floor, and the two women followed Chen Feng to his room to get their luggage. After they left, Chen Feng immediately deadbolted his door. He first lay sprawled out on the bed to rest a bit, then, feeling uncomfortable all over, got up to take a bath. After the bath, he came out wrapped in a bath towel and turned on the TV, but only a few minutes in, there was a knock at the door. Soon after, his cell phone also rang. Chen Feng picked up the phone, and seeing it was Wu Mengting calling, he answered. "Brother Feng, do you have hot water in your room?" It was Lin Wan’s voice. Chen Feng was momentarily startled, then unconsciously replied, "Yes, what’s up?" "Great. We want to take a bath, but our room doesn’t have hot water. Would you mind if we came over to your room to shower?" At those words, Chen Feng couldn’t help swallowing with a gulp and quickly cleared his throat before saying, "Did you call the front desk?
